Great graphics, attentive customer support, good presentations, seems flexible. > > **Cons**: Had to put it n iPad as advised - I guess connection too slow. Not a Merlin issue. Support team excellent and quick. > > Excellent. Clear on screen, the menus work well. Graphics clear and attractive. Support good and quick. ----- ### "Merling Project; Underrated Project Management Tool" — 5.0/5 > **Diaferia** | *25 November 2024* | Individual & Family Services | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: makes project management, project controlling as well task management efficient. > > **Cons**: multi project management requires a lot of time to set up > > It was perfect since i no longer struggle with the management of ongoing project as it makes it easy and much efficient. It also ensures task management works as expected ----- ### "Merlin Review as ATS in our organization." — 5.0/5 > **Allan Del Cris** | *13 February 2025* | Outsourcing/Offshoring | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10 > > **Pros**: It's fast, easy to navigate and integration seems easy as well which really helps our organization a lot. > > **Cons**: I think the data extracted is a bit messy upon viewing in Excel. But I don't know if I'm doing it right, I'm not quite sure actually. > > Merlin is a very great ATS tools\! Been using it since I was hired in this company and never give us a trouble. ----- ### "A simple but very powerful alternative" — 4.0/5 > **John** | *29 January 2010* > > **Pros**: I believe that Merlin is the best project management software available today. It has a very clean and intuitive interface but it is also very feature rich. We have been so impressed with its performance that not only do we use it but we also offer Merlin training and consulting in North America. > > **Cons**: Merlin does not run on the Windows platform. Users in a Windows or mixed environment can, however, purchase the Merlin server edition which publishes project information in an html format. In this sense it is cross platform. > > Since Merlin reads and writes MS Project files, I think it is a viable alternative for almost any project manager for almost any project. Our project plannings have on average 200 lines ; we include all of our tasks in order not to forget any of them. Since we have certified delivery dates, we keep a close eye on all of our plannings wich is easy with Merlin . Using Merlin help us sleep tight and relaxed because we know we have all planned. We appreciate the ease of operation and the numerous reporting facilities and the possibility of merging different projects giving us an overall view of all our running projects. I am gratefull that we have a full French version (because we are not yet fluent in Deutsch). > > **Cons**: It's not a "least like", but I would love to be able to add or remove any field directly in a report instead of selecting the fields in, let say, Échéancier (yes, I am running Merlin in French) and then generating a report out of it. It would be so easy to modify a report to any customer liking. We would also love the be able to generate spreadsheets from the programme data base. > > Been using Merlin for about five years and would not go without it anymore. It gives us en edge over our competitors. We give a copy of the planning to our customers once we sign a contract, so they can follow the progress of their project. We are probably the only general contrator in our region doing so. ----- Page: 1 / 2\ Next: [Next page](https://www.capterra.ae/software/89688/merlin-project?page=2) ## Links - [View on Capterra](https://www.capterra.ae/software/89688/merlin-project) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | de | | | de-AT | | | de-CH | | | en | | | en-AE | | | en-AU | | | en-CA | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-IL | | | en-IN | | | en-NZ | | | en-SG | | | en-ZA | | | es | | | es-AR | | | es-CL | | | es-CO | | | es-CR | | | es-DO | | | es-EC | | | es-MX | | | es-PA | | | es-PE | | | fr | | | fr-BE | | | fr-CA | | | fr-LU | | ----- ## Structured Data
