> **Pros**: The ability to CNAME and create custom players for various websites, creating a sort of CDN for companies and businesses.

> Using the service to post videos without having to store files on my local server or having to use a branded player from one of the bigger hosting companies. The ability to place your own ads and locking the video to a specific domain is also very useful.

The amount of storage for the price beats all of the competitors and the support has been helpful every time I reached out, which was probably once or twice the first week of using it years ago, because it's been nothing but smooth sailing since.

I think one item that bugged me was that I wasn't able to upload PDFs. Not a dealbreaker of course, but more like room for growth.

> **Pros**: It has domain-level protection, enhanced HLS encryption, watermarking features. on-the-fly resize, watermark, crop, quality transformations.

> **Cons**: It has only the fly url-based transformation of video manipulations. but for those who do not need it, there are other providers like JetPack Video and Vimeo Pro. I think with them you can upload as much as you want, there is only monthly limitation. I do not really deal with videos daily. Just bought it few years back when it is on lifetime deal. 
Some other companies are much more expensive, costing more than $100/month. But they have extensive features like engagement, commenting, chat, poll and much more. There are also new startups, providing features about the same, but pay-as-you-go pricing is lower. I think Publitio really need to catch up on this.

> **Pros**: I like their WP Plugin and the vision that everything works everywhere, but the service lacks speed when it comes to video approx 2h, and I think technical stability, too. I am eager to see their work improve, about that. On the other side, they had a good way to follow your video performance.
Everything is quite simplified for the user, and the upload of the video file itself is transparent in terms of options that can be changed later. There is a way to save the previous selection and to select the options when uploading by one clicking on Preset, which is a lovely detail.

> **Cons**: As I say, I like the simplicity, but the most that are missing is the loading speed for longer videos. I must say that everything is good when you just watch a movie, but we have courses and people need to pause, to skip, to manipulate the video and that's bad. And, I do not like the way that they do not address customers when they occur to malfunction. Before asking, I never know if the problem is on our or on their side. But, support is there and if you need help they will answer your ticket.

> We started using the free version of the service and when it turned out that there was a need to buy the plan, we bought it. To be honest, we were very happy about the purchase. I must say that we have video files between 100 - 400MB, approx 2h long, recorded and compressed by Zoom. In our experience, the service is not suitable for LMS video files. On the other side, the service is good and you will be very satisfied if your videos are for marketing purposes or if you plan to use the service as hobby video hosting. If you are looking for a service to be used for key things in business, decide on the Premium plan with a monthly payment rather than free or Lifetime options.

> We are using Publitio as a central storage and delivery location for shared content used by our different sites.  The video, image and document delivery performance has more than exceeded our expectations.  The tools and resources for managing the assets have made it easier for the less technical team members to upload, manage and distribute or use.
