The REST API allows for integration into most CI/CD tools. We have used the REST API to integrate with Jenkins, and successful builds are reflected on the deployment screen. This shows the rate of changes across our application estate and allows us to keep applications at the correct versions. I welcome the new shortcut tabs on the Environments page allowing you to switch from Environments, Deployments and status. Prior to this feature, I had to create a deployments calendar to track our deployments. > > **Cons**: When compared with other tools, it would be nice to see the concepts of an environment as a system i.e. an environment consisting of infrastructure, software, hardware and being able to model this visually would be a nice feature, think visual CMDB\! When creating an environment booking, it would be nice to have a conflict 'alert' when bookings overlap. I would like to see the possibility to import outlook calendar events as a standard feature and not just when creating a new calendar. When viewing environments in the calendar view, if your environments have many components/applications, the screen can quickly fill up with components from one environment. I would like to see the concept of levels introduced into the visual representation, and be able to have a cascading view allowing you to expand and collapse the related components. Currently the use of attributes helps with this respect, but it can be difficult to track when say the version of an application server changes. Since this is a JIRA plugin, if you don't use JIRA, then you will be able to take advantage of Apwide GoLive. > > Our experience with Apwide has been great. One of our company customers saw the potential of this application and requested new features to include IT Release Management which is different that the pure software release management. The Apwide team worked very quickly on this new features that were incorporate within less than 2 months the customer required them. The result: an excellent product that became even better not only feature wise but also because it incorporate very valuable customer feedback. > > **Cons**: Nothing to report that the software was not doing well from the very beginning. > > My experience is not only using the software but also interacting with the team: they listen the customer and they are very proactive to deploy new features.
