Reviews of OptiSigns
Simple, Clean, and Intuitive Sytem
Comments: If there are no firewall issues with your network, set up is a breeze. Creating and uploading your own assets is an easy and an enjoyable experience and there are hundreds of premade templates you can just modify. The system is familiar and intuitive and the price give you your money's worth and more.
Pros:
Optisigns was easy to use with a clean interface and an intuitive system. There were plenty of professional and well designed premade templates and if you are used to creating/modifying designs on Canva, then you have pretty much mastered Optisigns. And if you haven't you will easily figure it out. Data mapping is also a huge plus since we have rates that change regularly.
Cons:
If you have a heightened security network if might block it right away but it doesn't really tell you that it might be a firewall issue. My personal experience was, because it wouldn't connect to our network, the pairing code didn't show up at all. Depending on someone's level of familiarity with such issues, they might just think the device is defective. A warning message somewhere that indicates that issue would be extremely helpful. There is an article about whitelisting but you need to know what to look for and dig for it.
OptiSigns: User-Friendly Solution for Streamlined Internal Communication
Comments: OptiSigns has been a solid addition to our internal communication toolkit. It’s simple to use, effective for sharing key information, and helps keep everyone informed and engaged.
Pros:
One of the standout features of OptiSigns is its easy-to-use upload and drag-and-drop functionality. Even individuals who aren’t very tech-savvy can quickly learn how to navigate and utilize the platform, making it accessible for everyone in our team. It’s also great for sharing important company-wide information, recognizing birthdays and anniversaries, and tracking production KPIs across the plant.
Cons:
So far, there aren’t any major drawbacks. We've only been using OptiSigns for about a month, and it's been smooth sailing without any significant issues.
Alternatives Considered: Marlin HR
Reasons for Choosing OptiSigns: We switched from Brightsigns to OptiSigns because the user interface of Brightsign was difficult to navigate, making it challenging for our team to manage content effectively. OptiSigns offers a much more intuitive and user-friendly experience.
Switched From: BrightSide
Reasons for Switching to OptiSigns: We chose OptiSigns because of its easy-to-use interface, flexible features like drag-and-drop functionality, and its ability to manage multiple screens remotely. It offered a more seamless experience compared to other alternatives, making it ideal for our internal communication needs. We also chose OptiSigns because it provides excellent value for the price, offering all the key features we needed at a more affordable rate compared to other alternatives.
OptiSigns Review
Comments: overall I have positive experience with optisigns as it is quite simple to implement by adding Raspberry Pi's to the network and allows controlling the content and user access effectively.
Pros:
I like the different features, add-ons, templates and how I can add and modify content remotely from my desk on any device I have access to.
Cons:
The user interface on the website is not very intuitive and I have a hard time trying to finding how to perform certain actions, especially with user access and adding users.
Optisigns is probably the easiest digital signage solution I've used
Comments: Purchase and setup went very smoothly. The software was very easy to learn - the hardest part ow deciding the layout I wanted to use. The installation has been rock solid and of the couple of issues that I did have tech support was very responsive.
Pros:
Simple setup and lots of different modules to use. The software is very responsive and push to clients is almost immediate.
Cons:
The management console can sometimes be cluttered

Reasons for Choosing OptiSigns: PowerPoint was OK for a couple of displays but we expanded our displays to multiple locations
Switched From: Microsoft PowerPoint
Reasons for Switching to OptiSigns: Being a D1 Athletics Department communication and recognition is a top priority. Optisigns ease of use and great price allows us to show upcoming schedules, photos from past competitions, player highlights, and the weather all in a engaging way.
OptiSigns Keeps Our Workforce Informed and Engaged
Pros:
OptiSigns makes it easy to communicate information to people in a way that is engaging and immediate. I love the ability to use their designs and templates or upload my creations and push them out to a number of locations so that our employees are informed, connected to the business and celebrated. Our employees especially appreciate being recognized for their work service anniversaries and their birthdays.
Cons:
I wish there was an easier way to schedule time sensitive posts to publish and be removed from playlists. I know this feature exists currently I just don't find it user friendly.
Alternatives Considered: ScreenCloud
Reasons for Switching to OptiSigns: Ease of content creation and management and implementation. Cost of product was in budget and sustainable long term.
