A necessary tool that can open up your account management and network management from anywhere

4.0 last month New

Comments: It is is robust directory services that gets its strength from being in the cloud and not tied to internal servers or connections. It is a industry standard user management solutions that allows us to run account lifecycles and connect with other software and programs.

Pros:

One of its greatest strengths is that it is universally used and able to connect and be used with almost all software and programs out there.

Cons:

Maybe the biggest con is that Microsoft products are not always the easiest to configure for special circumstances and Azure would fall into this category sometimes.

Avoid Azure unless you are an IT Technician, not for small businesses.

1.0 last month New

Comments: Bad, I couldn't get anything working due to errors constantly telling me I had missed weird items when setting up systems. When I tried to close the account that was just as hard. I needed CHATGPT to help me close as the help was no good.

Pros:

I thought this would be a platform that a business owner could use to drive their small business but wrong was I.

Cons:

The platform was so complicated, I was unable to use. Over time I found I was being charged for resources I had not started directly. Why we can't have a simple system for cloud computing that asks for disk, CPU and Memory plus O/S I don't understand. This is not user friendly unless you are from a technical background. I have been in IT over 20 years and was lost.

Pros and Cons of Microsoft Azure

4.0 5 months ago

Comments: It offers many services from storage to AI solutions which have proven powerful for my development projects, especially with its seamless integration with other Microsoft tools. However, my initial learning curve was challenging due to its vast services and pricing structures. Their security is a plus but their support channels feel bureaucratic at times.

Pros:

If you're a developer who loves all things Microsoft, Azure feels familiar and much easier to start working on projects. It's secure, has everything you need to build, and lets you grow your projects as big (or small) as you need.

Cons:

Azure's range of services can feel overwhelming for beginners, with a bit of a learning curve to navigate all the features and their pricing structures.

Comments: Easy to learn. I have enjoyed achievements after achievements. It is fun using Microsoft Azure.

Pros:

It has been a journey with Microsoft Azure. From tough beginnings where I couldn't tell what I really wanted with the software. It has been fun learning the capabilities of this software with time. It's innovative technology is impressive. Microsoft Azure modernizes processes with simple to understand insights. With my little knowledge in coding, I have achieved so much and excited to achieve more with this great tool.

Cons:

It needs basic coding knowledge. But no worries, you can learn with time and everything will flow. It is a great software.

Pros:

What I liked most about Microsoft Azure is its seamless integration with other Microsoft services and the vast range of tools for developers. The platform’s scalability and global reach are impressive.

Cons:

What I liked least was the initial learning curve for navigating some of the advanced features, but the extensive documentation helps overcome this quickly.

Inclusive Cloud Platform

5.0 10 months ago

Comments: Microsoft Azure provides the perfect environment to design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor advanced analytics workloads on the cloud. We use Azure for data warehousing, Pipelines, and machine learning to extract and process data from various sources. The SQL-managed services handle infrastructure and resource allocation to simplify the provisioning process and help us focus our team effort on workflow optimization, solution improvements, and project goals. Azure Cloud is a Collaborative and inclusive development environment with an easy-to-navigate user interface and has efficient billing and cost management tools that help us better our teamwork.

Pros:

Microsoft Azure provides reliable cloud storage, computing, networking, infrastructure, resources, and tools for solution development and deployment. The analytical services and SQL solutions are fast and integrate seamlessly with on-premises SQL Server systems. The platform is secure, easy to implement, and continuously adds new features and advanced AI capabilities. The customer support is friendly and responsive. Also, Azure has an extensive learning platform and solution architecture center to help developers design and optimize better cloud solutions.

Cons:

Azure continuously adding new features is critical for success, but it is a bit overwhelming and requires continuous learning to keep up with the latest updates.

A great roadmap for cloud infrastructure and AI innovations

5.0 7 months ago

Comments: Up-to-date technology and has a promising future.

Pros:

The main differentiator aspects in this tool is design development. It is quite efficient in that. Validation, prototyping and simulation can be done at any stages of the design. It has enabled continuous improvement and proficiency with the techniques and technologies. Over time, quality and efficiency are realized.

Cons:

Configuration was not easy for me. It took me a while to interface the tool with my operations but eventually made it. It is working well.

Great if you're already using .NET/ Good for everyone else.

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: I've been working professionaly with Azure for about 6 years with 2 years off using Cloudfoundry. Azure is far better than Cloudfoundry. And if you are already building with microsoft tech like .NET and C#, Azure is a very natural extension into the cloud.

Pros:

If you are already a programmer using the Microsoft software ecosystem, Azure is the cloud for you.

Cons:

The pricing can be a bit expensive. There are a number of free services and if you don't need to scale up a lot you can probably accomplish a lot on the Azure cloud for free.

Azure provides the identity management and security we need

5.0 last year

Comments: It is very positive. I can't imaging not using it.

Pros:

User authentication and security is extremely good. There are of course standard tools like MFA, but also several other layers of identity protection built in that detect risky or unusual activity. Accounts can/will be blocked when risk levels rise. Remediation is easy and the tools to investigate risks are very robust. Internally it allows us to offer the levels of access and permissions that our complex structure require.

Cons:

It is such a big product that it can take a while to get to know. Once you do become familiar it isn't uncommon for things to change and you need to adjust your workflow or learning to acommodate the changes.

The world of Asure

4.0 5 months ago

Comments: So far it’s been great. The ability to control web based or application based access is much easier using Azure

Pros:

Its ability to be utilized for almost any SSO application. The configurations are many and fairly easy to set up.

Cons:

The pass values when passing Active Directory to Asure don’t match. They changed the attribute values some. So it can break Entra ID syncs.

Microsoft Azure Review

4.0 last year

Comments: We have been using Microsoft Azure for hosting virtual machines and storages. Azure for us has been the most secure and convenient cloud service provider. The user interface is very easy to use and the training material and the documentation for each services in Azure makes it easier and fun to use. We use it for external collaboration, Application services, Conditional access, Intune and many more things.

Pros:

* Microsoft Azure has wide range of services like Network, Storage, Compute, Azure Active directory, Application services, Databases, etc.* It can integrate different services in one platform.* User Interface is also very easy to navigate. You can select the necessary tools which you use daily and keep them in the left pane.* It has excellent documentation for each services.* Very good customer service.

Cons:

The only aspect which I do not like about Microsoft Azure is its overall cost for machine learning, storage and compute services. It is a little higher than its competitors. Having said that Azure is much more reliable than any other products.
