Best tool to manage internal controls compliance and Internal audits

Comments: such a great experience for everyone at my company that is not looking at the tool as a burben but as a time saving tool for storing and sharing data and document and status

Pros:

easy of setup and easy of administration easy of use, so easy that no training are necessary for 90% of users

Cons:

as cloud solution sometimes it is not doing exactly what you want but maybe it is because what you want is not compliant

The Go To for Internal Audit Management

Comments: No Internal Audit Management System is perfect but AuditBoard is one of the two best players in the market.

Pros:

Ease of use, continual updates, focus on Internal Audit.

Cons:

Implementation process, workstream module.

The tool is expensive making it hard to justify.

AuditBoard

Pros:

I like the ability to house all our audit workpapers in one spot. It is much better than using shared files.

Cons:

The lack of customization to work with our organization/audit set up

Comments: Positive. When I have challenges, they're very quick to help

User friendly, great visually, customizable, good support. Great for audit.

Still some small limitations but the platform is aware and continues to roll out updates.

Auditboard review

Comments: I was the primary user and System Admin for AuditBoard for 2 years. I used the Risk Register the most. I used it everyday for at least 2 hours a day.

Pros:

I liked that it was a very comprehensive GRC tool that allows you to manage most GRC items. It is also very customizable. You can adapt it to most processes even though the company's processes are not in line with industry standards. AuditBoard does have nice customizable graphs too.

Cons:

It is a very complex platform. It lacks automation for artifacts. You should be able to like artifacts across the board, from controls to Risk Register items and Audits

Innovative product with a customer centric focus

Comments: Auditboard is an innovative company that is receptive to feedback. The product continues to evolve with the needs of the customer.

Pros:

Ease of use for out of the box functionality; do not need to be a technical person to understand how to use the product

Cons:

The only con I would highlight is the cost is substantial compared to other products, but the capabilities and level of service make it worth the investment.

Good Solutions

Comments: Largely positive. Great upgrade to our historical approach of a shared drive to house audit documentation.

Pros:

Lots of solutions for common problems. The help function is very useful as a jumping off point to figure out how to do what I need.

Cons:

Some struggles with evolving with changes. We are long time customers and sometime feel behind the ball catching up.

Great Audit tool

Comments: Overall I have had a really positive experience with Auditboard. It's very intuitive and easy to get using the product. Adoption across the organization is pretty quick.

Pros:

Auditboard provides a connected platform to track all the risks, testing and compliance required for my company. It's key feature is that it is all in one single platform.

Cons:

Depending on how deep you want to dive into it, there are complexities you can enable/disable from a permissions standpoint and access. These do get a little technical and cumbersome.

Integrated audit, risk, and compliance system

Comments: We implemented Auditboard to move on from excel worksheets and trackers living in a Sharepoint with frequent emails sent internally and to control owners. For our internal audit team, it's entirely changed the way we organize our work, and for the control owners, they have loved the tool because they get their own customized dashboard which tells them exactly what controls they are responsible for, whether there are any issues, and also is the only method that they are sent audit requests.

Pros:

Version control is no longer an issue. We can share documents across our internal audit, compliance, management, and up to the board with full and complete information. Auditboard has customizable dashboard that we use for reporting that once set up, are easy to refresh at a moments notice for up to date information. The Auditboard support team also listens to their feedback from customers and is constantly working towards adding new features to meet customized needs of each team member and industry.

Cons:

There is a lot of customization that you can do with this tool which is why it makes it so valuable, but you have to prepare yourself to spend some time learning the ins and outs of the tool. Fortunately, Auditboard offers many web-lessons to educate you on the tool, and the customer service is excellent when you need some additional help.

The Auditor Tool that Enhances

Comments: Since day 1, we have had nothing but a good experience. Customer service is great and the software is very easy to use and learn.

Pros:

The product is user friendly and easy to access. It is pretty much self explanatory and includes many short videos on "how to" that are easy to understand.

Cons:

We have not found a major issue with AuditBoard to consider it a Con. If anything, they are improving on options we have brought up in the past such as accommodating to formatting options.

Glanbia Auditboard Tenant

Comments: Really positive experience, everybody in the team is using it seamlessly and in the same manner, ensuring that our quality standard is kept without additional workload.
QA reviews of our audits are trivial thanks to the forms, resulting in a much cleaner environment.

Pros:

Accessibility is key to our global department. Latency is always the same regardless where we are in the world. Another extremely important key point is the superb support we received throughout this year from the team. All responses were tailored to the questions, this is, somebody took the time to understand our question(s) and reply to them in a very professional manner. No canned responses.

Cons:

A number of steps in our methodology are conditioned by the workflow implemented within the tool. Also, automated generation of documentation is something that we cannot use due to the limited functionality. Hardly a headache, we just adapt our process and use the tool in the most effective manner.

Early SOXHUB Adopter

Comments: We have certainly reduced the amount of administrative time spent with various features and automations within auditboard. Two-way communication between IA and management has also increased tremendously through Workstream.

Pros:

The ease of use and automation of previously manual and time consuming tasks has been transformational for our internal audit department. Honestly could not imagine operating without the SOXHUB and OpsAudit modules.

Cons:

Some of the more recent features related to automation and integration with other software platforms would be great to have; however, the connectivity and dependence of some of these features on having various tiers of packages is confusing and often frustrating.

EASE of SOX

Comments: It is great, we are able to automate so many features in SOX program.

Pros:

AuditBoard automates SOX, love the linking of controls to narrative.

Cons:

More robust Risk Assessment process would be great.

SOX Auditing

Comments: Average support.

Pros:

Product is intuative to learn and easy-to-use.

Cons:

Chatbot help is not helpful. Always having to fill out a ticket for support. Not much support from customer rep.

Great Streamlining Audit Tool

Comments: The AuditBoard implementation team has been extremely helpful and patient listening to our company needs and suggesting appropriate/valuable product solutions.

Pros:

AuditBoard is helping to streamline our audit procedures across entities for a global company. The tool is going to save hundreds of hours spent on administrative tracking of status, control changes, and reporting.

Cons:

Simplifying the user and permissions to allow for more specific team based roles that do not have to be customised. For example, we had to create a custom external auditor role as we restrict our external auditor from specific fields.

Great Product and Great People!

Comments: Lovely people and easy tool to use! When we have issues, we can contact support and have it resolved quickly. Also, when we want a new feature, the presentation is always very clear and helpful.

Pros:

WorkStream has become super helpful in requesting documents from clients and completing quality reviews. It's easy and notifies the correct people all the time.

Cons:

The risk assessment is not as clear as I want it. We create and rate each business units, however, it stops there, and doesn't help us plan for what audits should be completed for the upcoming years.

Automation and reporting with risk insights are the differentiator

Comments: Auditboard brings their A-game to every engagement regardless of organizational maturity or size. They are a true partner throughout the entire process.

Pros:

The automation and live on-demand progress and reporting ensures that there are no doubts around the ROI delivered to teams, partners, and stakeholders.

Cons:

The Auditboard team are responsive to feedback and constructive criticism. There are very few bad things to say about the end to end engagement.

Slow start but hopeful

Comments: In my opinion, the initial experience wasn't great. However, after going to the Audit and Beyond conference and getting some great face to face discussions, I am very hopeful that our experience will shift to being very positive. We look forward to connecting and learning how to maximize our AuditBoard products. We sense a good shift in the tides with AuditBoard.

Pros:

AuditBoard allows for great organization of audit details year over year. We love the issue tracking and it's easy functionality.

Cons:

Our implementation was a challenge, we never really felt confident in the product we were using. We were not educated enough on how OpsAudit and SOXHub should be utilized. We've submitted simple suggestions but have not received good feedback or seen them implemented. It seems as though our requests for assistance are closed with sending us to AuditBoard university instead of a person helping explain something.

Great tool

Comments: Audit Board has the best user interface of all products in this space all of our users can easliy adopt.

Pros:

Audit board allowed us to streamline a manual 302 process and enabled tremendous time savings

Cons:

when we signed up for audit board it was before the tiers exisited or we were not made aware of them, every time a new feature is rolled out we are told it is extra for our tier.

Good product

Comments: They are receptive to feedback but improvements sometimes fall short

Pros:

This product is very intuitive and the basic elements can be used with no help or guidance. It helps with collaboration on audits.

Cons:

There is not a useful RCM functionality and the modules are bought separately but heavily rely on each other so if you just get one (like opsaudit) there are many things you cannot do

User-Friendly and Modern Aesthetically

Comments: Auditboard has streamlined our PBC and Narrative review processes in a way that we could not have done previously. I love how modern it is both aesthetically and in functionality. The user-friendliness of it from a control or process owner standpoint is unmatchable.

Pros:

I love that Auditboard is so user friendly for process/control owners. Everything is laid out step-by-step and easy to use. Workstream is such a great functionality too - our PBC requests went from a very manual and not well tracked process to easily repeatable and understood throughout the organiztion.

Cons:

As an administrator, I've found there are a lot of tricky functionality steps to take. Once you know them, it's very simple and makes sense, but to first start out knowing nothing there is a learning curve. For instance, adding a new control simply adds it to a control listing in settings and there is a separate step to add the control to the control/testing environment. Again, not a difficult step to take, but it is a little tricky when first starting out.

Adopted AuditBoard and not looking back

Pros:

This is the first audit software that we have evaluated that feels like it has adapted to current technologies and processes. It is easy to configure and use, with the right amount of customization allowed. Our team quickly adopted the tool and we streamlined our audit process with the OpsAudit module very easily. When we have issues or questions, Support is readily available to help. The web-based functionality is great for our remote team and make local support fairly easy! I would highly recommend the consideration of AuditBoard for your team!

Cons:

The tiered levels of subscription limit some of the functionality that is available, even some things that don't feel like motivators to upgrade (e.g. utilization of "required" fields, etc.). Some teams don't have the ability or budget to spend more, so in reality, many are limited to the functionality offered at lower tiers. Not a showstopper, but difficult to manage when release notes indicate new functions.

AuditBoard

Comments: The customer service experience is amazing with AuditBoard. Today, I am at their annual conference in California, and I can't say enough wonderful things about [sensitive content hidden] , Senior Manager, in Customer Success. We were at breakfast and [sensitive content hidden] shared information with us about the weekly office sessions (virtual) that we can attend to learn more about the product. He answered all our questions related to the new features in AuditBoard and even discussed the new SOXHUB Admin Certificate. So excited to do that too. AuditBoard - if you are reading this, [sensitive content hidden] is an asset to your company!

Pros:

The product is very user-friendly, version control is very valuable, and each year new features are rolled out.

Cons:

I would like to see documents open on the same page. For example, to see the issue details open on the side of the page and still see the control info page open.
