I asked to change to a monthly. They still charged me $3000+ for the yearly plan. There expensive for the phone services which doesn't even connect with calls to well.

> **Pros**: There are a few things I grew to appreciate about Workiz like the automations, but there's way more to the story.

> **Cons**: Since day one of switching to Workiz it has been a non-stop headache. The sales team was quick to promise every functionality that was important to us like a call center that can manage multiple locations, importing all of our historical data into Workiz, and much more. We quickly found out that there was no merit to what they promised on the sales calls. We experienced extensive QuickBooks sync issues that skewed our financial reporting, making it impossible to know what our true financial situation was. After months of reaching out to Workiz support they finally admitted they had an internal problem that was causing this and refunded us 1 month of software cost. &#10;The onboarding team did an embarrassing job of importing our historic data. Almost every invoice over the past year was populated in Workiz but was not showing a collected payment, so the system was showing hundreds of thousands of dollars overdue in payments over the past year. The other customer service reps that we spoke with couldn’t answer simple questions we had about the functionality of the software. We had to figure out everything on our own.&#10;Workiz is also missing some functions that you think would be obvious to anyone using a home service software, for example: You are unable to make invoicing required before closing out a job (techs consistently forget to create invoices leaving this up to office staff to catch). You are unable to be signed in on multiple devices at the same time, e.g. your cellphone and a field device like iPad or tablet. The mobile app does not rotate sideways. Workiz text can’t display emojis. The list goes on and on, but I just can’t believe that a company like this is so popular and doing so much revenue annually. They’re thieves selling software on a 12 month contract that is way worse than other options on the market. If you’re reading this, look elsewhere. We used Jobber before and although imperfect, it’s cheaper, easier to use, has much better customer service, easier to train techs on, etc..

> **Pros**: Workiz, like any other FSM, makes client interactions easy. I also liked the ease of use of the product and how we could minimize the number of software we needed to use in order to complete projects.

> **Cons**: It is difficult to get a hold of customer support, and when you do, they are limited to what they can help you with. There is a lack of accountability when they make errors, and it seem they are in no rush to fix them when you reach out.

> Throughout the last year, we were assigned roughly six different account managers. Only two or three of them formally introduced themselves. In most cases, we didn’t even know our account manager had changed until we needed support and discovered someone new was assigned to us.&#10;&#10;Our biggest ongoing issue was with the phone system. For the entirety of our time with Workiz, we dealt with calls coming in where we would hear hold music, but no one was on the other end. We reported this multiple times, but support consistently told us nothing was wrong.&#10;&#10;After realizing Workiz wasn’t the right fit, we made the decision not to renew. We reached out proactively to our account manager, \[sensitive content hidden\] asking to be downgraded to the Lite plan to allow us time to port our phone numbers and transfer our data before the contract ended.&#10;&#10;That didn’t happen.&#10;&#10;Instead, our account was fully deactivated—cutting off access to our phone lines, app, and all client data. We emailed \[sensitive content hidden\] immediately, but this happened on a Friday. On Saturday, I called Workiz support 71 times before finally getting through to someone. They told me no one who could help would be available until Monday.&#10;&#10;On the fifth, everything was restored—but only after over 100 calls, follow-up emails, and unnecessary delays. I’m writing this because I believe in transparency, and I wouldn’t want another small business to go through the same thing.&#10;&#10;Other frustrations we experienced include:&#10;&#10;No unlimited phone plan – Most FSM platforms offer this. Workiz doesn’t, even though it’s one of the most requested features.&#10;&#10;Limited automations – Even on the Ultimate plan, you were still limited to a certain number of automatons you could set up.&#10;&#10;Unreliable mobile app – The app frequently froze or crashed, requiring us to force close and restart regularly.&#10;&#10;In short, Workiz might work for some businesses, but based on our experience, we cannot recommend it.
