Best part, I haven't really had many issues with Massagebook. It has got better but still a lot more than expected the tap to pay features don't work and i have to run the card manually which cost me more money. To my surprise coming back to Massagebook all my previous client list and soap notes everything was just how i left it 3 yrs prior. Massagebook staff is very user friendly most helpful with any task. Mainly it's so easy to use you don't need a whole lot of help with navigating the software. I believe it was one of the first platforms designed specifically for massage therapists. I like the way some of the options and features have evolved over time, and the national listing for bodywork professionals. I have had a few people find me through massage book when visiting the area, to request an appointment. > > **Cons**: Major physical safety issue\! The software required my physical address even when only doing out-calls. There was a statement saying that would not be visable to clients. I came Home one evening in 2018 to a stranger sitting in his car in my driveway, claiming we had an appointment\! We were furious. What if I had lived alone\!? When I contacted MB they assured me that wasn't possible. They were clearly wrong and didn't even know how their own software did and did not work. I deleted my entire account. > > I initially found the interface to be clunky and even occasionally redundant for some of the set up steps. Also when making changes to how I ran my practice. I had to have 3 different, information repeated "profile / locations tabs" for the three types of service I provided. (Out-calls, Main office, and Events) and it didn't transfer the contact or other information between them. This was extremely frustrating. - Although that may have improved in the 5 or 6 years since I last used it. I love being able to creat my own intake forms for the different modalities and services i offer and it is super wasy, even for someone not tech savy \*raising my hand Also yhe customer service from this app, be it for me or my clients, is amazing. I would love to be able to make/create my own SOAP notes\!
