Easy to setup with great support.
Pros:
The integration of invoicing and inventory management is the best of the software we have used, and the customization of document templates allows us to provide our clients with professional documents with exactly the right amount of information.
Cons:
There are some features that need work on kit and case building but with that said the rentman team are continually listening to the end user and implementing requests.
Rentman will revolutionise your Event Production world!
Comments: It has been made with the Event Production Industry in mind. It speaks our language, the people who work there understand everything we are trying to do, and they go above and beyond for Rentman to be like a third limb!! Their support is second to none. We have taken up the premium support service, and wow!!!!! They are more responsive than people sitting next to us in the office here. They get back to every email / ticket / suggestion / question as soon as they are online, and with such context and awareness of us (Their team knows us so well and we know them, because they are so personable and consistent). We are in Australia, yet that time difference does not affect their performance at all, generally because everything works and our tickets are about making a slight improvement to something that already works really well, that's saying something!?!
Pros:
It has revolutionised our systems!! We consolidated so many systems into Rentman; warehouse / inventory, quoting & invoicing, rostering & scheduling, timesheets, task management, CRM (the critical parts in Rentman, yet we moved from Salesforce to HubSpot for our marketing elements).
Cons:
There are a few aspects in the last 8 months that are not exactly what we'd like, but we've either shifted our expectations or Rentman have made developments to sort it out! Not being able to share a Project across multiple Account Owners has been a little bit tricky but we've refocussed our needs there. The 'contact person' does not have much information associated with them, but I'm picking holes at a pretty incredible system.
Alternatives Considered: HubSpot Sales Hub
Reasons for Choosing Rentman: We had so many platforms, and all of them separated. Rentman has brought them all together under one roof, and they all talk to each other!!
Switched From: Deputy, Flex, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Salesforce Sales Cloud, and Google Sheets
Reasons for Switching to Rentman: Because it is made exactly for our business; the Event Production industry!! HubSpot would have been a massive workaround to achieve even 5% of what we're doing now out of the box with Rentman!

confusing user interface
Pros:
Nice functions, online based, electronic signature at offers, easy to create invoices without project,
Cons:
settings are often not individual adjustable like First Day of Work in hours counter for new employes or national holidays. Its not possible to set a sabbatical for a employee in the hours counter Creating forms is very difficult. Finding Projects by name is very complicated

It would be great if you could let us know what parts of the interface are confusing for you as we just recently updated the whole interface to fit even better with the workflow of event and production rental companies. Our intention is to keep the options for staff administration understandable and easy-to-use for everyone. To ensure we offer an intuitive product for all users, we choose not to focus on workforce administration after time registration. Instead we aim to optimize Rentman so that it can be seamlessly used with dedicated staff administration software. Comments: It has been great and their support is excellent.
Pros:
Easy to use and great access through the web.
Cons:
Maybe that they are still a young and small company and don't have everything the bigger companies offer in their softwares.

Incomparable customer support!
Comments: Very good so far! Quite a long road preparing it for use in our business with crating all the databases from scratch. But during this process the learning curve has eased out and with the great customer support, all obstacles that have come up along the way have been overcome.
Pros:
For us this puts together perhaps 3-5 other softwares that we have been using separately without any synk in between them making every job to be entered manually in each software for each change or update. Rentman totally takes this away and saves a huge amount of time! After starting using the software, the tremendous customer support is also worth mentioning as one of the pros of the whole Rentman "experience"!
Cons:
Quite steep learning curve if coming from a much smaller similar solution. Some parts have extremely detailed individual settings for user customization, making it quite confusing and overwhelming at times, and some features on the other hand have way to little options for customization.
Alternatives Considered: easyjob 3.0 and farmerswife
Reasons for Choosing Rentman: Needed to keep track of equipment, jobs, crew and transports in a more controlled way rather than having it spread out in several softwares and manual processes.
Switched From: Google Docs
Reasons for Switching to Rentman: Best suited for our kind of business! And the pricing was closest to budget. Got recomended from partner company.
