Reviews of QuickBooks Online
I Love the Access I have with Quickbooks Online
Comments: As I already said, I love the direct access to my numbers and the added reporting that has allowed me to better run my company by quickly getting insights I need. It's a lot easier for customers to pay online and I'm finding more and more of the moving that direction vs. sending in checks, so it's good that we are set up in this way now.
Pros:
I started using desktop Quickbooks back in 2000 right after I first started the company. As a single-person company at first, I got used to being in the books almost every day. As we grew we added an in-house Bookkeeper. A few years ago I relocated the company to a different area and we kept our Bookkeeper who stayed in the original area. I really missed having direct access to the numbers so last year I switch to Quickbooks Online and I love it. In addition to having direct access to the numbers I need, it has a lot of other functionality and reporting that I really like. It's also great for clients to easily pay the invoices online. It's making a night and day difference. Support has been great as well.
Cons:
It's definitely very expensive to be paying a pretty high fee every month - especially compared to the desktop version where we bought it and were good for years to come. It's definitely worth it but I'd be more of an evangelist if the pricing was a little easier on the pocket book.
The Industry Standard
Comments: QB Online is an excellent app. Of the different accounting software I've used as a bookkeeper, this is my favorite.
Pros:
Easy to use, intuitive, has lots of plugins and features, and the AI/intuition of the app to guess the category for new transactions works pretty well
Cons:
Not really a con, but it doesn't work the best for fund accounting (I work in the nonprofit sector with designated funds).
Alternatives Considered: Aplos and ShelbyNext Financials
Reasons for Choosing QuickBooks Online: QB has been slowly phasing out QB Desktop (without subscriptions), and I just like the interface for online more
Switched From: QuickBooks Desktop
Reasons for Switching to QuickBooks Online: QB Online is easier to use and more of my clients use it.
Horrendous Program
Comments: QuickBooks Online is horrendous. The system is slow to do anything, it seems every task takes longer than QuickBooks Desktop. It takes days to process payments; keep being told a "glitch" that flags EVERY payment as suspicious. Clients are getting angry it takes so long to process payments. The system cannot handle the size of the payments going through; although only a few clients pay by credit card, the ones that do is disastrous. We will be canceling the payments add-on. I am trying to get ALL my clients off QuickBooks online and to go to a different program.
Pros:
The only positive it is not ties to one computer and can be accessed anywhere
Cons:
The system takes too many steps to do a task, it does not receive payments effectively from clients. The customer service is absolutely useless and does not care about anything.
Alternatives Considered: Sage 300cloud
Reasons for Choosing QuickBooks Online: thought it would be easier - it is not. We are talking about going to a different program
Switched From: QuickBooks Desktop
Reasons for Switching to QuickBooks Online: thought it would be an easier transfer of data
QB still remains the Boss of Accounting Software Systems!
Comments: I am enjoying using the online version and look forward to all the incentives for bringing and setting up clients, like revenue share and affiliate commissions. QB still remains the easiest and most valued bookkeeping software that I will recommend. There are video tutorials for literally everything.
Pros:
I love how everything updates automatically for the client when entering as the accountant. Bank reconciliations are an absolute breeze as well when you link bank accounts.
Cons:
I miss being able to use the standard shortcuts that are available with the desktop version making things easier to keep your hands on the keyboard for faster entry. I am learning a few alternatives though as I go.
Alternatives Considered: Zoho CRM and FreshBooks
Reasons for Choosing QuickBooks Online: Expanding my clients and needed to upgrade my desktop software anyways. Plus QB Accountant is free for what I need currently and I receive revenue shares and affiliate commissions.
Switched From: QuickBooks Desktop
Reasons for Switching to QuickBooks Online: QB is the most trusted product and customer service is always available. For the price it is the best option.
Best Software For Business
Comments: My overall experience has been a positive one. It has everything I need to run a small business. It gives a sense of relief. I Do
Pros:
I really oved using QuickBooks Online. I started a small business selling my sewn goods and QuickBooks helped me with so much. It made it easy to keep an eye on the money coming in, how much I was spending on supplies. It also helped me plan for saving for taxes as well at the end of the year. I really enjoyed how it tracked inventory and made it easy to make estimates and invoices.
Cons:
Sometimes the online version would have connection issues and I would have trouble login into my account.
Alternatives Considered: FreshBooks
Reasons for Switching to QuickBooks Online: I loved the pricing and all the features it had to offer.
QBO works for you
Comments: QBO works well for small - medium businesses to have all their financial information place
Pros:
Built in payroll and tax payment into the software
Cons:
The reporting is clunky and should have more customization available
Alternatives Considered: Sage 300cloud and Xero
Reasons for Choosing QuickBooks Online: Move away from Desktop based software to cloud base
Switched From: Sage Accounting
Reasons for Switching to QuickBooks Online: Had payroll bult in and was easier to use that Sage cloud
Outstanding financial management platform
Comments: QBO has been a great tool that is essential for the team.
Pros:
QBO is an outstanding accounting and invoicing software. There are many different options on how to organize/structure your business depending on your model. The invoicing is simple, effective and clients seem to like the format.
Cons:
The job tracking drives my team crazy. While the pieces are there, it simply doesn't function in a way that allows us to truly track the financials on a project tip to tail. We can also count on Quickbooks to continually drive up the price for existing subscribers because they know how hard it is to transition away from accounting software once it is installed.
Alternatives Considered: Jobber and Buildertrend
Reasons for Switching to QuickBooks Online: Ultimately QBO was better suited for the accounting side of things.
Great Accounting Software for Entrepreneurs
Comments: Very easy to use and setup even for a novice, non-finance person.
Pros:
Love the easy to use interface and integrations with all of the financial institutions I use. Also makes payroll and paying business taxes a breeze by not just tracking these amount but also paying directly from QBO.
Cons:
Cash flow projects are terrible. A key feature that is missing, that would be great to have, would be to track upcoming monthly bills and expenses to see the impact future bills will have on cash position. I currently have to track this separately outside of QBO.
Alternatives Considered: Zero
Reasons for Switching to QuickBooks Online: Familiar with the brand having used Intuit products for tax preparation in the past. Pricing was reasonable and didn't seem to be missing any critical features.
Helps keep my life organized
Comments: QuickBooks Online has helped me manage all my accounts for many years now. Helps me track all of my expenses. My favorite part is the free invoicing, I can now save money and not have to pay for invoices. They have everything to keep you organized at a great price.
Pros:
Pros: Easy to use, affordable, easy to manage and track all of my accounts, business and personal. You can even make invoices to give to your clients.
Cons:
Cons: The only thing that I found confusing at first was the layout because it was a lot different then the old software I was using. Like anything it just takes a bit of getting use to.
Alternatives Considered: NetSuite
Reasons for Switching to QuickBooks Online: It didn't offer as many features. Wasn't as easy to use.
Quickbooks Online for Small Business Accounting
Comments: QBO online is my preferred software for accounting for small businesses. I prefer QBO to any other software I have used.
Pros:
QBO is easy to use and understand for clients even if they are not accountants. They can see their bookkeeping at any time with QBO.
Cons:
Sometimes there is a learning curve for clients. I wish there was a way to create a simpler dashboard for them.
Alternatives Considered: Xero and Microsoft Excel
Reasons for Switching to QuickBooks Online: QBO is far easier to work with in my opinion. Excel does not have automatic integrations and I find Xero to be less intuitive.
Quickbooks has made my practice
Comments: Overall this software has changed the face of my practice and how it operates. I was previously using Solar Desktop software but Quickbooks software has enabled me to be able to take on more clients, provide them with access to their accounts online, be able to confidently provide my clients with accurate training and support and it has also saved me a lot of time with some tasks such as bank reconciliations, entering transactions using bank feeds etc.
Pros:
Initially, I really loved the fact that you could receive very in-depth free training from home and in a classroom environment. Also, the fact that Accountants receive a licence for free for their own practice. I like the entire 'look' of the software, it doesn't feel overly complicated and is very user friendly. The help files and online helpdesk are extremely useful. I like that I can restrict the permissions that my clients have in order to avoid any unwanted mistakes being made but do feel that the permissions need to be more tailorable. I really like having the ability to set up recurring invoices which minimises the amount of time I have to spend on monthly repeating invoices.
Cons:
I feel the permissions that you can set for individual clients is not restrictive enough - I would like to be able to enable clients to create their own sales invoices and purchase invoices but maybe restrict them from being able to delete them as this has caused many issues with some of my clients. Also, the system can be a bit 'glitchy' on occasion and the figures it sometimes produces on the trial balance report is not always accurate - usually the Sales figure is inaccurate for previous financial years which can be most frustrating. I also don't like that fact that, as a Quickbooks ProAdvisor, you cannot purchase any discounted bundles of licences. I also don't like the way you have to allocate a purchase credit note to the original purchase order - it is far too confusing and causes many errors by my clients.
Alternatives Considered: Xero
Reasons for Choosing QuickBooks Online: In preparation for Making Tax Digital and in order to be able to offer future clients a better service.
Reasons for Switching to QuickBooks Online: Better functionality, cost and the free training that was available.
TradeGecko - you want the REAL scoop - Read here - NO ONE will tell you this before you buy
Comments: Well, i went through 4 attempts to integrate over a year, before after 1000's of hours documenting, troubleshooting, sitting on calls, I said enough is enough. I am done. They agreed, and I am on MTM until i move off shortly My new pick is not made yet. I can't stay here though. THE SOFTWARE DOES NOT Work as described. At all. Their methodology on Amazon changed over a 2 month period. I pointed that out to therm. I was on my third Account Exec at that point. You don't really have account execs, I was just providing them so much that they did not know about the holes in their system. (Returns automated processing non existent for example) , they were providing me some assistance.
Pros:
Not much. The Product / Variant organization in the Left Hand Nav, takes a LONG time to get used to, it is far from intuitive. The "Intelligence " reporting is FAR from it. Garbage Data In garbage data in reports? Maintaining your inventory integrity is IMPOSSIBLE in TG. For "supply chain " software they do not take in data from integrated channels for the following critical fields: "On Order" (reserved) , IN TRANSIT (unbelievable) , and the CAPPER - They have NO MECHANISM TO RECORD unit level Returns. They depend on Sold 1 - Degrade one methodology and only count a return when the Amazon App is SYNC'd and the INV in Trade Gecko for FB overall INV position. Not taking into account Returns, muchus less inaccurate receivings, lost stock in the AMAZON distribution network (2 items a day for me) - you inv is INACCURATE on any item the moment it is shipped to AMAZON. Of course non of the above data gaps are discussed, nor is you will have to manually process returns at an order level in their system.
Cons:
Lets get right to it. The main reason people buy this platform is to integrate AMAZON FBA / and several other businesses. Any combination is possible - eBay and Walmart are supported BUT ONLY with a CART ROVER account which they provide and set up with WM etc. As is typical NO TRAINING is provided on CARtROVER, and there is no knowledge base in the Gecko system. Bonus, ther support will tell you that they are not able to support cart rover problems. So recapping yes you can integrate with other channels beyond WOO COMMERCE, and Amazon (whom have custom APP integrations we'll cover those next) - with a totally different, fairly complex, piece of middleware for which you will receive no training and limited support. A year in i get 5 errors a week out of Rover. Huge time sucker, you will notice a theme there. The GLARING inadequacy of TG is the lack of integrated returns processing. THIS IS THE DEAL KILLER. As we are all buying this tom mage our MULTI CHANNEL inventory with CONSTANT INS and OUT of 1 piece here on eBay, 2 units out the door on amazon and another on my Woocommerce site. In my 20 plus years of eCommerce I find that 5% is a good number for what you can expect in returns from the end customers. More on Amazon due to their return policies. Your inventory integrity is non existent quickly. You would need to sync the app daily or every other day. No one will ever give you that direction though from TG. Staff is unaware of these issues.
Excellent Software if you have help
Comments: I had a live hate relationship with quickbooks because while it was easy to use it can get messy quite quickly due incorrect categorization. That changed when I hired a bookkeeper to look over my books on a monthly basis.
Pros:
Love quickbooks online well because it is online which means I can do my business from anywhere and anytime. Relatively easy to set up and has video tutorials. Love that you can set up lots of subcategories which makes comparing information from different categories easy and more meaningful. Love the new tags feature!!! I wholesale so I can see which wholesale reps are performing the best. Makes bookkeeping and tax paying easy if everything is setup correctly and accounts are reconciled correctly. Love the various reports you can pull from it. Profit and loss monthly, quarterly, annually. Love how easy it is to create invoices and the option to get paid within quickbooks!! No more sending an invoice and then asking for a separate PayPal or square payment.
Cons:
Categorizing some income & expenses can be tricky at times which can mess the books up and make you want to tear your hair out. May Need a quickbooks bookkeeper to keep your books clean or will most likely mess it up.
Alternatives Considered: FreshBooks and Wave
Reasons for Switching to QuickBooks Online: Wa e was too basic and fresh books was limited in its functions.
QBO is excellent for non-profit except for a few limitations
Comments: It is the best for small size non-profits as long as one can find an away to produce end of year donation tax statements
Pros:
If you know how to setup the chart of accounts including using Locations and Classes you can fairly run non-profit accounting very smoothly. Data entry is simple. Reporting is fairly good. Import and export functions are very good.
Cons:
There are serious limitations with issuing end of year donation statements. One can't filter out sales and can't customize the statement text to meet regulations. The statements are very inflexible.
Alternatives Considered: Aplos
Reasons for Choosing QuickBooks Online: Online access and easier user experience
Switched From: QuickBooks Desktop
Reasons for Switching to QuickBooks Online: Although Aplos was made for non-profits it didn't give us the flexibility to setup our chart of accounts to enable the required reporting across restricted/unrestricted funds, programs and bank accounts.
Quickbooks is the best partner for my small business.
Comments: Mostly It took me an hour or more to finish with my inventory management using Excel but with Quickbook it only took me like half of time of my usual work time. With less time I had to do with my work the more time I have for my family and other things. I am so happy that I found this software that improves my daily living and also makes my workflow easier.
Pros:
I like how easy it is to use and to understand. Does its job well, exactly as it should. The order entry portion runs easily, fits in with the actual world, and needs little training. The inventory management component makes managing inventories easier and gives us all the data we need to do so. Improved integration. The dashboard's user interface and navigation have been improved. Numerous reports that can be modified Projects, salaries, and other add-ons and interfaces are all supported. Contact information and transaction forms are very detailed.
Cons:
I did find the software installation process to be a little bit of a drawback. I needed assistance installing the software because it was a little difficult for me to do it. In addition, a strong internet connection was necessary for the process, and the location I was in had limited connectivity, making this component a little difficult. But once it was all done it'll be all good and easy to use until the end. The struggle in the beginning is worth it for its most helpful uses.
I LOVED THE OLDER VERSION. New version, not so much. So we switched.
Pros:
Biggest Pro: This is built for robust accounting. The older version of Quickbooks online for Mac included an app. That app was key because the browser version often took a long time to load. I could get in, out , and be done in minutes. There was even a time tracking technology that was integrated at the time that was included in the package for free. It was great... and then it all changed.
Cons:
I don't love the new browser only experience. It wasn't as seamless as the app. The time tracking is now $$$.

No support whatsoever
Comments: Abysmal. We've experienced too many bugs, and they lost our payroll data with no resolution in sight.
Pros:
It has most of the features we need, and doesn't feel like a compromise compared to a desktop app. It's initially easy to set-up and use.
Cons:
It's extremely buggy, and the support is non-existent. Modules stop working entirely, like the whole payroll system, and it can take weeks or months before the issue is resolved. Think about that for a second. Their support is horrendous; they do not call back when they say they will, and will never let you speak with a supervisor or anyone who could possibly escalate your ticket. Every time you call back, you're starting from scratch; The bottom-line is, when something goes wrong, no one is ever held accountable, and you are on your own. Also note that the US and Canadian instances are a completely different product, and so it's difficult to find 3rd party plugins that work with your geographical region.
If you have < 10 EEs and need time billing, there are better options
Comments: Overall, it's the best thing out there. Unfortunately, Intuit works tirelessly to increase the revenue they get from each customer. Not by adding functionality; but by deprecating features and moving them to higher tiers of the product.
Pros:
QBO was wonderful prior to their acquiring TSheets, and deprecating their built-in time tracking. If you don't do time-billing, then QBO is still great.
Cons:
As of this review - 2 years after they acquired T-sheets; the level of integration is very poor. Instead of waiting to introduce the product after the integration is finished, Intuit chose to deprecate a very nicely defined time billing feature and replace it with something that requires a lot more work. You cannot see the status of your billables until you review and approve the hours in t-sheets; and then export it to QBO. If you want to see a tabular summary of the billable hours in T-sheets, the only option is to export to csv! Your QBO dashboard only shows what has been approved and exported from T-sheets. The entire process is extremely cumbersome, kludgy, and frustrating. And - did I mention you have to pay more to be able to allow your employees to enter their time. That used to be included in the price. Also - beware, Intuit regularly increases the cost of using the product. It's now double what I started with. They play a shell game with repackaging by deprecating features from the current version to drive you to the more expensive version.
Quickbooks Organizes Our Church's Finances
Comments: QuickBooks has made the financial experience for our church so much easier. It's super easy to create reports for board meetings and see where you are financially.
Pros:
I love how it connects to your bank account and transfers all of the transactions to it. Being able to categorize every transaction makes things so much easier. No need to type everything in manually! Reconciling is a breeze!
Cons:
There's a huge learning curve for this software. However, they have great customer support. In the beginning, I had to stay on the phone with them for a long time to learn how to use it. Sometimes, customer support doesn't know how to use the software specifically for your needs, but they usually do a great job!
Alternatives Considered: Aplos
Reasons for Choosing QuickBooks Online: Excel is not the best financial software!

A constantly moving target, but works well for basic SB accounting needs...
Comments: We initially moved from QuickBooks Pro Desktop to the Online version to allow for our new Online Service Management System (RazorSync) to easily export invoices into QB for processing. In that regard, QB Online has worked well and met expectations. It's obviously an evolving product and there have been many changes to it over the time we've been on the service; some good, some not-so-much. The reporting module is very limited and unless one of the canned reports is close to what you want it's a struggle to obtain some information in a format that's useful. All those issues aside however it's been a good solution for our company and we expect we'll continue to use it.
Pros:
It's wonderful to have access to our accounting system from any Internet-connected device. Integration with our Service Management System (RazorSync) has allowed us to turn Service Orders into invoices and send them via QuickBooks Online quickly and easily, which has absolutely improved how quickly we get paid on jobs. The Payroll module makes it easy to pay our employees and calculate the necessary withholding and taxes due.
Cons:
The reports in the Online version are clunky and horribly limited. Recently Intuit modified what was included in the package we were in and limited the number of accounts we're allowed to have in the Chart of Accounts without paying a higher fee, so we're stuck not being able to add new accounts unless we want to go to the "next tier". Last year we needed to reprint some older tax forms that weren't showing up so we were forced to contact support for assistance. We finally got what we needed done but it took contacting two different support reps as the first one obviously wasn't familiar with the product and made changes to our accounting data that had to then be fixed by the second rep.
Thorough, organized bookkeeping software with plenty of features
Comments: Overall, Quickbooks has been very valuable to my business, easy to use for both clients and myself, and organized in terms of layout and use. However, I wish the fees charged for processing payments were lower.
Pros:
For my business, I send monthly invoices, so Quickbooks' invoicing feature and the ability to accept all kinds of payments is a must for my business. I find the invoices simple to create, and they look professional and attractive on the customer's end. I also like that I am able to customize the invoice template easily so that I can modify how it appears to the customer. My clients have not had any problems paying through Quickbooks' invoices, and most of them actually prefer to pay this way rather than through other methods such as cash or checks. I like that I am able to select or deselect payment methods for each individual customer. Quickbooks' system has simplified my payment process and my clients are satisfied. I use the Quickbooks Online feature of adding my accountant to my account for no additional cost, and I like this feature because if I have any problems or questions, I don't have to try to explain in detail each concern; instead, my accountant can just log into my account and view any discrepancies herself. This has been a lifesaver on multiple occasions. Another feature I like is the ease of use with categorizing bank transactions and expenses. Quickbooks suggests categories and automatically matches most transactions that it estimates are paid invoices. They are correct the majority of the time, and this makes matching payments to invoices a breeze. I also like the records that Quickbooks makes, such as records that show my profit and loss by month.
Cons:
While Quickbooks is very critical to my business and makes bookkeeping easy for me, I do find the payment processing fees a bit expensive. I suppose the fees are on par with other payment processing systems; however, at the end of the month, it is a bit surprising to see how quickly all of the individual payment fees add up on top of the $25 I pay each month to have Quickbooks Online. My complaint about this software would definitely be the fees associated with payments my customers make through Quickbooks.
Really...what choice do you have? Nobody ever got fired for going with IBM...or QuickBooks...
Comments: We primarily use QuickBooksOnline to generate and track invoices, as well as "keep the books" (General Ledger). It does these things well, but the learning curve is steep and I often find myself wondering why it does not have an obvious feature (like - why can't I get a subtotal within an invoice? Why can't I sort items within the invoice before making it final?). Beyond that, I have found the service / support to be lacking, and I am not at all keen about the fact that they incrementally increase the price once you are committed to using their product. Can I recommend? I suppose, but it would be a lukewarm recommendation. Really, it comes down to the fact that once your business is too large to use Excel for invoicing and General Ledger, QuickBooks is the defacto standard. I do not love it, but I don't hate it - yet. If they keep raising the subscription fees though, they will push me into doing some research for a replacement.
Pros:
It does what it does well, and it is the standard, so you don't have to worry about acceptance or compatibility issues with your clients or with your financial institutions, nor with your accountant and / or bookkeeper.
Cons:
Just because it is the standard doesn't make it the "Gold Standard"; it does the basic things you need it to do, but I often find myself wondering why some obvious functionality is missing, despite the fact that the learning curve is steep. And...they have a sneaky way of repeatedly raising the subscription fees once they have you committed to their product.
Horrible Updates!
Comments: I used to say I "love" QuickBooks. Now it's safe to say I "hate" it. I have considered switching software systems and taking all my clients elsewhere. I keep saying that if QuickBooks wants to migrate users from Desktop, they need to make Online more like Desktop. That couldn't be further from the changes they're making. Do they make these changes without holding focus groups? Honestly, do you even care about your users anymore?
Pros:
I love the ease of signing on to QuickBooks Online from anywhere. My clients email me questions and I can answer them right away. I can also work from anywhere, which is great!
Cons:
Recently (2023), QuickBooks Online development team have been making a lot of physical changes to the program that are HORRIBLE! I hate every change they've made this year. You can tell the developers do not use the program on a daily basis. And worse yet, when they implement a change, it glitches terribly and it takes them months to fix it. A lot of the changes make it harder to do my job by adding steps/clicks to performing tasks that weren't there before. A lot of the windows are also not seemless/ aligned like they used to be - not everything is lined up on the same gridline. Most people use the program on their laptops and you can tell they're making it more for desktop in that the pages are too wide/big and don't fit on your computer screen. However, when I use the program on my desktop screen, I have the same issues. There are boxes where there didn't used to be and don't need to be. It makes me feel like they're going backwards in technology and not forward. A lot of the features are not Intuitive... as the name suggests they should be.
A bad software package
Comments: I appreciate TradeGecko’s effort to have a competitive software package, but their offering is still far away from that. Their programming skills seem questionable since the company I work for had to hire and pay for our own programmer that would fix their problems… So we can have a reliable service Seems that their marketing strategy is to make it very compatible (see the list of add-ons above); hence, marketableas “compatible”. I appreciate that too; however, Tradegecko seems to be implementing what they know… I question what that is, including but not limited to accounting procedures, programming, warehouse operations or work experience. These are some of the problems I have had so far because I have to use this software: Returns can only be attached to an invoice, so if the customer does not provide the original invoice number, we can’t do anything in TradeGecko – adjust in QB and then we have to adjust the quantities in TradeGecko. NOTE that our customers are retailers so if their clients return an item they are also clueless. Still ongoing problem. We run a sales history report to show invoices paid within a time period, the report returns invoices created on said time period that are paid. New problem, but the report used to work. We want a sales report showing all sales reps in one report, we can only run reports showing one sales rep at a time or all sales without sales rep information. Ongoing problem. Connectivity is very slow, we are in the U.S. running Windows 10 desktops and don’t know where their servers are. Still ongoing problem We have to refresh the screen every time we enter information, otherwise the new data may not update on it’s own. It can take anywhere from 10-30 seconds before I stop seeing the “logging into your account hello[user]”. Still ongoing problem Inventory turnover is very important, but they don’t offer a default report showing stock valuation per date. It’s either today’s information or we have to add a code string at the end of another report to see the value at a specific date. Ongoing problem I'm not disputing the positive reviews, just would like to know if any of the readers have the same problems I have AND how you solved them, if ever.
Pros:
Keeps track of complex items and variants Integrates with QB Manages a lot of useful information
Cons:
Constructively, spend more time making of it a decent product, then spend the time making it more compatible Slow system response Lack important reports Requires that the client hires and pays on their own pocket a programmer to solve some problems Little consideration to real work scenarios (like merchandise returns) Very INFLEXIBLE They have good data, but don't know how to manage data

Hi Rafael, Thanks for the feedback and I know some of the team are working on this with you but let me just give some more detail here, 1. Returns - we do currently only support returns against an invoice as we want to make sure we associate any movement of goods against a sales order, we're evaluating if there's another method we should support with this. 2. Sales history report - we've made some big changes and improvements to the intelligence section of TradeGecko and we're making some more improvements to give more flexibility around invoice dates / payment due dates etc., 3. Sales rep report - yep, we don't offer a great solution for this right now, it's on the todo list. 4. Connectivity - our servers are based in the USA (hosted on AWS), so not sure about any latency or speed issues, would love to dive more into this. 5. We're currently working on inventory turnover and more general supply chain metrics and will make sure to update you asap Thanks again and my apologies that I can't solve all of your issues, but happy to give complete transparency on progress to delivering more of the functions that you're looking to run your growing business. I know Priscilla has been in touch and do get back to her or me if there's anything I can do to help, Best, Cameron CEO, TradeGecko
Quickbooks and Intuit are no longer the company they used to be. BEWARE.
Comments: Sad to see a company stop caring about their customers and look at how they can charge the customer more at every turn. Loyal customers like myself have helped support this company during its growth and we have stuck by Quickbooks during its growth and its challenges but now they are too big and they do not care about customers. We have to make a stand and support another company in hopes they will be better.
Cons:
I have been using Quickbooks for over 10 years. I pay for a yearly subscription to update my software to the newest version, payroll software and pro-adviser support which Quickbooks themselves sold to me. Now when I have a problem, they tell me my files are corrupted. Also, they say I corrupted the files and it was not their system even though the files are on a secure server only running Quickbooks. Instead of fixing the problem their technical team wants to point fingers and is trying to charge me for more support. They do not care about the customer. They only want your money, and in today's world there are too many other options with companies who care about their bottom line AND THEIR CUSTOMERS. Also, I failed to mention their system did not update for the last few years since 2014 to the newer versions as it was supposed to and they tell me that is my fault as well but they gladly charged me every year for the new versions. I am a loyal quickbooks customer who uses both their online version and their desktop versions for over 20+ companies. This year I am transitioning every single company out of Quickbooks to a company that actually stands behind their product rather than points fingers and is always trying to get more money even after I purchased additional support which they advised me to buy.
