And the needs they didn't meet in the beginning they quickly developed to beat out the competition. > > **Cons**: Everything I didn't like about Brightcove, they have made a conscious effort to develop, fix, or improve. I wish it was a little cheaper, but it's still a great price and cheaper than their competitors for what we get. > > We used Ooyala, then it was bought out by Brightcove. They initially wanted us to jump from Ooyala to the Brightcove platform, but didn't have all the feature we needed. Instead of just telling us, "this is how it's going to be" Brightcove connected me with their engineering team so that they could build what we needed in fuctionality so that we would be able to move off of Ooyala to Brightcove instead of moving to a different company. This has been the case ever since. If another company can offer something Brightcove can't they just build it for us, and usually build it better. And if a company comes in cheaper, Bightcove has always beat their competition's pricing.
