Easy to use, All the features you need

4.0 last year

Comments: Used them to great effect for several events, easy to use and integrate on Facebook, and the fees were relatively low considering the features they provide. Definitely would recommend to others

Pros:

Eventbrite is a great platform if you have an event (or events) you are selling tickets to online. - Easy to integrate into Facebook Events so your followers & FB friends can purchase tix right from the events page. - If you have a scanner, you can scan tickets and register guests as they arrive so you know who has entered already, and who has not yet scanned their ticket at will call- Pricing is not too expensive in comparison to many other ticketing sites

Cons:

I think Eventbrite could reduce their fee structure a bit. As they are not involved in the event itself, taking a portion of each attendee ticket sale (3.5% fee) in addition to their $0.99 Service fee seems a bit excessive. I realize this is likely the structure that has allowed them to grow to such a large business in the events space, but I think this model may be a bit much as event organizers also have to pay the $9.99 monthly fee to be an Eventbrite member. However, in the grand scheme of things - the convenience of the Eventbrite service is worth the fees so far. Really no other major gripes with the service

The future so Eventbrite, I gotta wear shades.

4.0 2 months ago

Comments: Eventbrite is great and has gotten better over time. It is a valuable tool to add to your event organization toolbox.

Pros:

Eventbrite is great even for free accounts. It does SEO so well and appears on Google easily. It also allows for a great level of customization.

Cons:

I would like it to integrate more with third party registration software. We aren't selling tickets, but would love to direct people to our registration platform.

It's easy to see why Eventbrite is the top platform for creating and sharing events

3.0 2 months ago

Comments: So far it's been a helpful service for setting up virtual events. I'm looking forward to learning more about all the features I can use to my advantage as I become more familiar with it.

Pros:

I really like that Eventbrite has an extensive tutorial and help section where you can find the answers to most questions when you're just starting out. For a first-time user creating free events for my audience, it's been easy to navigate the process step by step.

Cons:

It was a bit difficult to set up a recurring virtual event with different dates and times, but I was also learning the entire process and had a complicated scenario to start off with.

Small Nonprofit Review of Eventbrite

4.0 4 months ago

Comments: This is a great tool, especially for smaller nonprofits or groups looking to promote and sell tickets (even free ones). I like the pay-as-you go options that don't lock you into a yearly/monthly commitment. I appreciated that there is still a free option for smaller events.

Pros:

The platform's visual designer is very easy to use and provides helpful tools to customize the event page to be on brand and be appealing. I appreciated the built-in tools and ease of use for sharing the event, promoting the event, and managing things like attendees, tickets, and more. Overall, it is a very intuitive and easy to use platform.

Cons:

The attendee report feature leaves some key functions missing that allow the admins to easily hone in on attendee details for follow up, especially for nonprofits who want to manage donations, etc.

Eventbrite Will Brighten Your Day

5.0 2 months ago

Comments: Overall, I always have a positive and happy experience using this service. It’s an old standby for community events, classes, or free services. It’s easy to browse and locate relevant & interesting local events in your area.

Pros:

Eventbrite is simple, straightforward and easy to use! The software is all event-based so you’ll be guided through the navigation by prompts. Just RSVP, right? It really is that easy.

Cons:

Seems a bit clunky based on how long the website has been exactly the same. Surely they could streamline things a bit more? Often the event organizer reaches out off platform anyway. The software is mainly to capture your RSVP and save attendees info in one place.

Enter Eventbrite and Navigate your path to fun!

5.0 3 weeks ago New

Comments: I enjoy it! It is easy to share what you are doing with others and to be a part of the community.

Pros:

It is easy to navigate for tickets, easy to use the tickets, and paper-free!

Cons:

I don't really have any cons. If I had to choose one, I would mention when an event is free and someone uses Eventbrite, it doesn't always pull up correctly on my phone. However, this could be my problem.

Malfunctioning. Wouldn't recommend as a biz owner.

1.0 6 months ago

Comments: As a customer I have had a fine experience.
As a business owner using it. . . . it is not intuitive. Prices/requirements unclear, didn't end up functioning at all for me. Made several attempts

Pros:

I do like that there are all these events going on out there in the world and you can discover them through eventbrite.

Cons:

ease of use is very bad. I had used it in the past and it worked but I had to market eventbrite just like if I had my event anywhere else. It is not helping to market me. So that defeats the purpose for me. Additionally, when I recently tried to use it in 2023 I could not get my events to post, to have all the correct information. It was not intuitive and easy to understand if I needed to pay something to house my event etc. I spent a couple hours on it. Tried several things to no avail.

Powerful Event Registration System

5.0 6 months ago

Comments: Overall experience with Eventbrite has been fantastic. Unfortunately, the change to the custom question feature has forced my organization to migrate to a different platform.

Pros:

Eventbrite provides a very robust and comprehensive platform for registration for complex events. The support documentation available on its website is excellent. I've been able to easily find ways to accomplish everything needed for our events on Eventbrite.

Cons:

The ability to ask custom questions during the registration process is extremely important for the events hosted by my organization. While custom question are supported by the Eventbrite platform, they have recently been moved so that they are asked only after registration is completed, with the result that users are able to register and pay for their tickets and then just ignore the custom questions.

Event-Briter than ever!

5.0 5 months ago

Comments: Using Eventbrite for Comic and Toy cons in Ontario has been great! It’s easy to set up events, manage ticket sales, and promote to fans. However, fees can add up, which can be a downside.

Pros:

Eventbrite excels with its user-friendly interface, customizable event pages, various ticketing options, built-in promotion tools, detailed analytics, mobile accessibility, and strong community focus.

Cons:

Eventbrite can have high fees for paid events, which may deter some organizers. Additionally, the platform's customer support can be slow at times, potentially causing frustration during urgent issues.

Eventbrite completely provided a ticket sales solution for our youth conference

4.0 6 months ago

Comments: Overall Eventbrite made ticket sales for our conference a breeze. The site is pretty intuitive and, as I mentioned, the payouts are super prompt and detailed.

Pros:

Eventbrite is easy to set up for an event. We set up a conference with over 300 attendees with multiple discount codes. Payments are super easy and paid out quickly. The analytics are really helpful. We also used Eventbrite for our 50 volunteer positions. Since it was for volunteers we were able to use the Eventbrite app free of charge and easily set up extra options such as shirt sizes and preference of days/areas to serve.

Cons:

Our greatest issue with our volunteer sign up is that it constantly got "sold out" with applications from India and Africa asking for letters of invitation to Canada for our event. I asked Eventbrite if I could limit the volunteer sign-up to our province, or even only Canada, but they have no way to do that. As such, I had to go into the app daily to delete ineligible volunteers.

Eventbrite Review: Room for Improvement

4.0 5 months ago

Pros:

I thought Eventbrite was relatively easy to buy tickets on, and I liked receiving an email confirmation once purchased.

Cons:

When I bought my tickets for an event on Eventbrite, I was not given a barcode to check in at the event. It seemed as though there was miscommunication between the organizer of the event and Eventbrite. I used the "help" feature to attempt to talk to a representative, but no one got back to me in time. Seems very disorganized.

Easy to submit information! Organized!

5.0 2 months ago

Comments: I have been using Eventbrite for local events for a few years now. It hasn’t taken me long to become familiar with the process and it’s simple to navigate. The organization is impeccable and I like the helpful tool of Eventbrite remembering your information for future events.

Pros:

I enjoy how organized it is, making it simple to plug in personal information. The process is quick and can be done in a timely manner (around 3 minutes or less). I also like how verification e-mails are sent and the event can be easily entered into a mobile calendar.

Cons:

The e-mails about other events can be a bit excessive. The program may also be difficult for those who are not tech-savvy and may need assistance.

Great way to learn about events in my city and around continent

4.0 9 months ago

Comments: Good portal for buying tickets or getting free tickets for events that are free. Great that it notifies me of interesting zoom lectures, tours, etc. I would not have known of or been able to attend because of being in another location.

Pros:

Eventbrite does a good job of notifying me of events that relate to myself and my work. Eventbrite is used regularly for ticketing in local events and it does a very good job. I've never had a problem. What I like about Eventbrite is it regularly notifies me of events, especially lectures, that relate to my work as a scriptwriter. In this zoom age, most of these events are available remotely so I can attend events in other cities. One example. As I scriptwriter I have often written horror material for networks like Showtime and Nickleodeon, and horror feature films. Eventbrite notified me of a zoom lecture in the Detroit Public Library of a talk by a very articulate professor about the history of Black Horror Cinema. Without Eventbrite I would never have know about that event. I've had other fortunate connections like that through Eventbrite including guided tours of graffiti in inner city neighborhoods, another topic of interest that I've incorporated in my own scripts.

Cons:

Eventbrite's e-mail notifications are great but there are a lot of events listed. Some appeal directly to me but many don't. So one has to have a bit of patience to sort through what's on offer that might be of interest to me. A bit better curation might help.

Makes Planning/Managing Events a Breeze

5.0 5 months ago

Comments: Great experience using Eventbrite. The fundraise we hosted was a HUGE success thanks to it's user-friendly and easy to navigate interface. Planning and managing events has never been easier for us since using this software. If you choose this, you will not be disappointed.

Pros:

The event management is unparalleled. Everything is so simple and easy to use. The interface is great, it is easy to share your events, and the platform intelligence is excellent for marking marketing decisions. It also has a very streamlined workflow which I enjoy.

Cons:

It has some limitations especially the less you pay. Some third party integrations can behave difficultly sometimes, but nothing that would turn someone off to using the software.

Eventbrite Keeps Me Busy!

5.0 6 months ago

Comments: Very positive! I use Eventbrite often as a way to make plans and see what is going on in my community.

Pros:

I love being able to see what events are happening in my area in one consolidated place. Eventbrite also has all of the information I need to know about the event, and makes buying tickets easy. Accessing tickets is also easy.

Cons:

I wish I could get a monthly newsletter about events happening near me, or an algorithm that knows what types of events I like. For example, I attend a lot of outdoor yoga events through Eventbrite, and would like to be notified about more.

Eventbrite Review

5.0 5 months ago

Comments: Overall, my experience with Eventbrite has been cool! It has its ups and downs. You really have to do your research when it comes to the people hosting the events you want to attend.

Pros:

What I like most about Eventbrite is that you can find events in your neighborhood or surrounding areas to attend—whether you're looking to have a good time, network, or promote your own events.

Cons:

Anyone can post an event on Eventbrite, and some may overhype their event, making it seem bigger than it is. People might overcharge, especially for vendor opportunities, and if no one shows up, it could end up being a waste of time and money.

Honest Review of Eventbrite

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: Although my experience with using Eventbrite was a positive one based on the ease of use, shareable link, and AI additions, I was not able to use the video feature advertised. An option for layaway payment was also not available on the application. Eventually, I ended up using a different application. This was mainly because the down payment feature that I needed was not available. I would probably use this application again, but for a different type of event.

Pros:

Creating an event description within the Eventbrite was a simple process. It allowed both use of my own wording, and an option to generate one through AI. This was what I liked most about Eventbrite, as I was able to create a listing quickly.

Cons:

I wanted to upload a small 10 second clip of the event to the listing I created. It could not be uploaded despite the website clearly depicting the ability to do so. It displayed only as a picture. As this was for a theatrical performance, the video would have been the perfect sales pitch. There wasn't anything that I could locate on the website clearly stating the size of the graphics or video that could be uploaded. This was quite frustrating. I wasted twenty minutes of time trying to troubleshoot the issue. In addition, there were not options for more than one payment. The option of an installment plan with each ticket was necessary for my venue.
