## Overview

### Who Uses Layar?

Small and medium businesses in Malaysia running one or many TV screens: cafes, restaurants, retail, clinics, gyms, salons, offices and malls that want easy menus, promos and announcements.

## About the vendor

- **Company**: Layar

## Commercial Context

- **Starting Price**: $0.00
- **Pricing model**: Per Feature (Free version available) (Free Trial)
- **Pricing Details**: Starter and Pro are priced per screen, per month. There is no platform fee and no setup fee.

One screen is free forever, with no credit card. It includes 250MB of storage and carries a small Layar watermark and a 10 second Layar slide on playback. It is a real plan, not a trial.

Solo is RM19 per month, flat, for one screen. It removes the watermark and adds screen on and off times and WhatsApp offline alerts.

Starter is RM29 per screen per month, for up to 5 screens. It adds time-of-day scheduling, widgets such as prayer times and weather, and the drag and drop design canvas.

Pro is RM59 per screen per month for the first 20 screens, RM49 each for screens 21 to 50, and RM39 each from screen 51. It adds analytics, proof of play and unlimited screens.

Billing is monthly or annual. Annual includes two months free. Annual plans can also be invoiced for bank transfer rather than card, which suits many Malaysian SMEs that do not put subscriptions on a company card.

Customers in Malaysia are billed in Malaysian ringgit and are not exposed to exchange rate movement. The US dollar figures shown here are the international rates: Solo $9 flat, Starter $19 and Pro $39 per screen per month.

A mall or campus deployment with wayfinding is quoted separately. Hardware is not sold with the software: the players run on ordinary Windows mini PCs and Android devices bought from any supplier.
- **Target Audience**: Self Employed, 2–10, 11–50, 51–200
- **Deployment & Platforms**: Cloud, SaaS, Web-based
- **Supported Languages**: English, Malay
- **Available Countries**: Malaysia
