> **Pros**: Way back in December 1999, I elected to leave my job at a graphics company to start my own business and I have never looked back. I made the jump from FlexiSign ($$$$) to VMP ($$). 25 years later I have nothing but good to say about this software. It does all I need it for and so much more. I am able to produce vinyl graphics and also produce artwork for digital printing. I have done everything from sandblast resist to 2 mil vinyl for police/fire vehicles. All done with confidence...and VMP. So, thank you from being that Yank who was able to bridge the english language gap/time zone difference, to make my business successful\!

What I was used to calling a certain font (say, Helvetica) was now Arial, etc. And in the early days, when I had an issue, I would have to wait for the folks in Australia to respond and we are time zones apart\! Since then, if I have a need, I just Google Youtube/VMP.

> **Cons**: There has been nothing in the past 10 plus years we have disliked with using Vinyl Master that comes to mind.

> We first started using VinylMaster in v4 over a decade ago and haven't looked back.  The tools and ability to customize nearly everything to tweak the program how you would like makes running a sign business easier.  

When we have reached out to support for little issues, we have always been answered quickly and even sent a patch to tweak our software within a day.  You couldn't ask for better support.  

The software can be as simple as you want to use it, just open a file and cut, or as complex as saving cut logs to know on which day you cut a file and what color you had setup.  There are also 3 different "quick settings" for the toolbar, "Cutting Mode" - "Production Mode" - "Expert Mode".  If you often feel overwhelmed with different buttons and settings you can dial this back to just the basics and it may help de-clutter your mind.  We have learned however to leave in on "Expert" and after a week or so, you probably will too.

This is truly an investment software that grows with you and is backed by amazing support.

I use it for my vinyl cutter and I use it to resize all my images before exporting them for printing . so much faster than anything ive used. I make all my product labels and add text to my posters with it. i love how it exports in any format i need to the exact size i need .
I love the contour cutter, the range of tools are awesome. The text tools give you so much range and freedom to do what you like with text. the outlining tool is amazing, i use it all the time. gives me a range of printing options directly from vinylmaster.

> the overall experience of vinylmaster , is realy good value for money. the entry level pack is very generous for the price. the company offers discounts to students and has instructional videos and tutorials on just about everything. its definitely something worth buying . The software comes with loads of saved files to use , interact with and edit for your own designs. I use the templates all the time. Very happy with it.
