When needing accurate time management, this is the app to use. > > **Cons**: Sometimes, Google Maps gets confused and will send me to strange places or odd routes. This never happens with anyone else I know but coworkers have witnessed it on my gps. It is very strange. > > Overall, I enjoy Google Maps. It generally will get me where I need to be in the shortest distance possible. ----- ### "Google Maps Is A Life Saver" — 5.0/5 > **Stephen** | *1 May 2025* | Chemicals | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: I like how Google maps gives you real time traffic updates as well as information on items in the road, stopped cars as well as speed traps. This app is an absolutely lifesaver. > > **Cons**: The estimated fee for the tolls was off by a little bit with that being said it's not Google's fault the toll roads raised the rates > > Honestly Google maps is amazing. Do you remember having the old Garmin navigations? Those are very Stone age. With Google maps you get that real time traffic update and reroute. When there's construction on the road Google maps will notify you of the best route. ----- ### "Reliable Navigation With Much More Than Just Directions" — 5.0/5 > **Samuel** | *18 August 2026* | Real Estate | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: The combination of accurate directions, detailed maps, business information, and real-time traffic data makes Google Maps extremely useful. It is easy to search for a destination, compare routes, and quickly find nearby businesses or services. > > **Cons**: Directions and business information are not always completely accurate, particularly in rural or remote areas. User-submitted information such as opening hours, addresses, or road access can occasionally be outdated. > > Overall, Google Maps has been extremely reliable for both personal and business use. We use it for navigation, finding locations, planning routes, and sharing precise locations with other people. The combination of mapping, traffic information, Street View, reviews, and business listings makes it much more than a basic navigation application. ----- ### "Prefer apple maps but it's good otherwise" — 3.0/5 > **hailey** | *13 June 2025* | Computer Software | Recommendation rating: 6.0/10 > > **Pros**: I like how it looks and most of the features like speed trap notifications and more like that\!\!\!\!\!\!\! > > **Cons**: I prefer Apple Maps, I've found Google Maps to be more on the screen and distracting and will often miss turns. It is not always up to date either ----- ### "This app makes everything easier." — 5.0/5 > **Philip** | *17 August 2026* | Marketing & Advertising | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: I love Google Maps because it's a free app that allows me to find new things to do and new restaurants, as well as navigate my own city and other places that I go to. > > **Cons**: Honestly, there's very little to dislike about Google Maps. It's so easy to use. Sometimes I wonder whether, when I'm looking at new restaurants to go to and I'm solely going off Google reviews, there's an element of groupthink. That means I go to the same places as everyone else, and maybe I don't discover the hidden gems that perhaps don't have many reviews on Google. > > I've used Google Maps for about 10 years. It's helped me navigate cities across the world. It's helped me collate lists for travel experiences, including things to do, places to go, and things to see. It's been a fantastic tool. ----- Page: 1 / 75\ Next: [Next page](https://www.capterra.ae/software/1010739/google-maps?page=2) ## Links - [View on Capterra](https://www.capterra.ae/software/1010739/google-maps) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | de | | | de-AT | | | de-CH | | | en | | | en-AE | | | en-AU | | | en-CA | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-IL | | | en-IN | | | en-NZ | | | en-SG | | | en-ZA | | | fr | | | fr-BE | | | fr-CA | | | fr-LU | | | ja | | ----- ## Structured Data
