Effective payroll and benefits tool

Comments: The transition from a paper-based approach has been revolutionary for our company. The most important advantage is that it allows our managers to see all of their employees' records in one place, make edits, view their timesheets in one place, and generate reports.

Pros:

It gives us a consolidated database of accurate employee information. Our most novice technical trainees can utilize it with the same ease as our most seasoned executives. During the rollout, we received excellent assistance.

Cons:

The most desired component of PowerBI has been difficult to master. We've determined that the HR department can best serve our reporting needs with the assistance of the technological team.

Making the complex simple

Comments: Overall, the experience has been favorable. It's ability to integrate with other systems has been the most beneficial.

Pros:

The integration with UKG Pro Learning and ability to navigate on a mobile device easily.

Cons:

When you using it for "shift" changes there are many barriers.

Best app for clocking in and out!

Comments: Amazing, made clocking in daily a breeze.

Pros:

Ability to clock in and out and keep track of hours worked.

Cons:

Nothing I can think of, was a great app.

Thrilled TO LEAVE UKG!

Comments: The worst. Will never go back. It is impossible to find affordable employees who have UKG experience.

Pros:

If you have a vast budget, this could be a great product for you. But you absolutely will spend a fortune for all the bells and whistles. Take your existing budget and triple it. Invoices come non-stop.

Cons:

The contract is impossible to get out of. The cost goes up by 10% each year and you MUST give an extensive notice or the contract auto renew annually. We got stuck paying for ACA and had to move it to a new company as they prepared ACA filing after we terminated our contract adn they refused to refund us. Be very careful wiht UKG, they make up random charges..invoices come in at every turn. IT is also very difficult to find employees who use and understand UKG, bc they turn all of their laid off staffers into consultants who bill at $200 per hour. Dont bother. I have no idea how this company stay in buisness. We had the worst experience in almost all aspects of the software. You are on an island with help only available at $200 per hour. This company functions like a MLM. Employers beware, you will pay top dollar for employees who understad the software or you will have to resort to consultatants....MLM. Worst business model.

Really love this except for one small detail!

Comments: Very good overall but could be made better with a few small tweaks!

Pros:

It makes it easy to do time off management and also to do payroll in all in one place.

Cons:

I don't like that you can't use templates that you can just use to autopopulate each week if your work hours and codes are the same.

Love UKG!

Comments: I was able to experience the various modules offered in UKG from Payroll to Onboarding to Recruitment to Performance. I work mostly with the Payroll Gateway and love the Pending Pay feature.

Pros:

I love how easy it is to navigate, both for employees and administrators. I really like the support from the Community to find answers to everyday tasks that I am doing and I love that I learn something new everyday about UKG's functionality

Cons:

I do not like that Wage attachments for Canada and ROE's are not sent automatically

Sold a dream, delivered nothing but problems

Comments: The sales team sold us on the software because they touted a support team that would hold our hand from start to finish and make sure we were never left hanging. Instead, we got UKG project managers who were completely disorganized and nonresponsive, our integration feeds took more than 18 months to create, UKG support took weeks or sometimes literal months to answer our questions, and when UKG drops the ball they still make the customer pay the price for it. We have been on this system for 3 years and still do not have all of our benefits feeds working correctly.

Pros:

UKGPro has a huge expanse of capabilities and can be highly customized. It's capable of covering most, if not all, needed HR functions.

Cons:

You have to be an expert in the system to get everything to work together correctly. UKG's support is abysmal. Reporting is extremely challenging and UKG forces customers to pay for everything they possibly can. We were left waiting for weeks or months for answers during launch. We are now being forced to pay an additional annual cost to update benefits administration because UKG is not updating their software, but of course they're not discounting our normal fees for the software.

Comprehensive

Comments: I used it as a workunit manager with about 15 direct reports. It's a good product overall, with comprehensive features and good customer service.

Pros:

- Comprehensive HR/people management system - Easy to learn and implement - Nice integrations between different touchpoints for employees (recruitment, hiring/onboarding, timekeeping, performance management)

Cons:

- User design and experience could be cleaner and more intuitive, especially for the employee-facing side when you have employees that are less digitally literate

Front desk

Comments: It has it's good things and bad things about it.

Pros:

This app has everything HR needs in one app.

Cons:

Can be difficult to find things in the subtitles.

UKG Pro is Unmatched!

Pros:

UKG Pro is extremely easy to use! Some great features include manual approval of your timecard, PTO requests, and review of available sick days.

Cons:

I would like to have reminders about signing off on timecards.

UKG Pro Review

Comments: We are now integrating with NetSuite and, although it is a long process, UKG has worked with us to get this going.

Pros:

We have used the product for 10+ years. I guess you can say we really like it. It does most things effortlessly.

Cons:

I wish we could do more with the PTO codes. They just revised the Customer Success portal and I feel they went backwards a few steps. I believe they will rectify this soon. Sometimes they are slow in responding to cases.

Comprehensive HR Solution tool

Comments: UKG Pro has been a useful tool for HR process streamlining overall. It provides an extensive feature set that includes payroll and personal administration. Even though it is a little bit complex user experience, the technology has significantly increased the productivity of our process.

Pros:

UKG Pro's features including managing teams, a user-friendly interface, seamless integration of payroll, time tracking, and other HR features made it very efficient tool. The robustness and adaptability of the reporting tools significantly increase value in an organization.

Cons:

It takes some time to fully understand all the functions, and the first setup might be complicated and time-consuming to learn and familiar with the UI/UX. Periodically, there are lags when moving between modules.

UKG vs KMC

Comments: I have been with the company for over a year and came during the transition time period dating back to 2023. I have had some bumps and worked thru them mostly with the assistance of UKG Team Members. Sometimes I hear the noise about the system and how it doesn't work for them, but if we all slowed down, they would see that the system offers more than we know,

Pros:

There are many areas, but the best by far is reporting in BA System.

Cons:

Some of our employees have issues when accessing their records, which might mean that either UKG or KMC provide a How To step by step remedy.

All in one services for your business

Comments: Overall experience is excellent for human resources and payroll needs.

Pros:

The ability to have Human Resources and Payroll wrapped into one service.

Cons:

The many different scheduling services we tried that were integrated in the UKG program did not fully meet our needs and we use a different application now.

UKG PRO on the go

Pros:

Utilizing the app for payroll and for tax reporting was an important reason we chose the program. I had worked with it in the past in my previous role with another company so it was easy to adapt to what my current company was using it for. It is great for payroll and managing our benefits options.

Cons:

It was not as intuitive as I would have like but being that I had used it at another company, I was able to work through the changes to the platform and adapt to what I needed

UKG Pro is great… but can we get more reports?

Comments: Overall, I love the functionality of UKG products. Timecard corrections/punch corrections are simple and straightforward. However, having a report that I can pull that provides future PTO balances may be helpful. It could be the version that my company uses, but I have not seen this option.

Pros:

The ability to view time cards and monitor my team is helpful.

Cons:

I would like to see expanded reporting on our version.

Solid option for timekeeping

UKG Pro Pretty Cool

Comments: My overall experience is decent enough to keep using it maybe they will work out the kinks

The ability to clock in an out and view my benefits and time from my phone!

The constant crashing! It’s always crashing and needed to reenter and verify passwords.

Easy access

Comments: I can review my pay cheque, my vacation and other stuff easily

Easy to maneuver through the menu on the side panel

Nothing because I can obtain any information that is required

The best system for anyone!

Pros:

I loved using UKG Pro - first, it is so user friendly and seamless. It is so easy to log in and clock in and out. The system was very appealing and make it simple to clocking in and out super quick and easy. I absolutely LOVE how simple it is to request time off and the system shows you everything you need to know, along with simply locating paystubs.

Cons:

I really don't have anything bad to say about UKG Pro - just wish my company still used it.

All-In-One People Management Tool

Pros:

UKG Pro is a well-integrated system that captures virtually all people-management tools in one place. It is easy to navigate and the reporting tools are very helpful.

Cons:

At times our employees have issues with the mobile app.

Great product for small business.

Comments: I found it very efficient and helpful when managing my employees time.

Pros:

I liked the layout of the software and how all the settings were very straight forward.

Cons:

There were no cons to the software that I noticed.

UKG Pro Makes a Proactivity Easy

Pros:

I love how UKG Pro is the HUB for everything. From healthcare information to paystubs. UKG Pro has it all. I like not having to navigate through 3-5 different websites and finding all my required assignments and tools in one website. It has been an amazing HR tool to keep me on track with all the required trainings and communicating my needs and concerns in one location. It's a pretty intuitive website and the app has been super friendly to use.

Cons:

I don't have any cons, I prefer this over some of the other HR programs that I had to use in the past.

An all-inclusive HR package covering all processes, and is backed by excellent support.

Comments: UKG Pro offers everything we need within a single attendance and workforce management platform. It provides seamless payroll runs, automates various processes, eliminates the need for paper forms, and ensures compliance with governing bodies' regulations.

Pros:

UKG Pro truly excels in simplifying payroll and all aspects of HR, from recruiting and timekeeping to careers and benefits. The system's ease of use and convenient access to required information on a single screen are major advantages. I highly appreciate the level of control and capabilities UKG Pro offers, allowing easy searching and providing a clear focus on driving and achieving goals.

Cons:

I appreciate how UKG Pro functionality becomes much smoother with familiarity. However, I believe there is room for improvement in the ticketing system. Implementing a feature that allows us to mark up tickets based on priorities would be beneficial, as it would enable the HR team to prioritize and address urgent tickets more effectively.

A must try for data intelligence
