LogMeIn Pro is exceptional remote access software.

Comments: The LogMeIn Pro software has been used for over 2 years by myself and the IT team for remote access to work computers. We used it a lot during the COVID pandemic to access shared intranet folders and documents. The interface is fluid, clean and very pleasant to use for a long time.

Pros:

The LogMeIn Pro software has pleased me a lot in terms of technical remote access and support for some junior developers. I access files daily on the intranet with LogMeIn Pro and it has always been stable, without lags and delays. It is also possible to use collaboration features using chat, voice and video with the assistant during a remote access help.

Cons:

LogMeIn Pro is nothing short of competing software. It has great visuals and features and especially a good price technical support. I don't see any problems to report.

Great Remote Access Software!

Comments: LogMeIn Pro has allowed us to work remotely fairly effortlessly for a reasonable cost. It has really helped us to provide more flexibility to our employees to get their work done, or to still be able to provide support to our team despite being forced to stay home (such as during self-quarantine due to COVID-19, etc.). I haven't worked with their customer support team because I haven't needed to (which is a good thing since we haven't had problems!), so I can't comment on that.

Pros:

It is an excellent price for the functionality. I also like the pricing structure as compared to TeamViewer (it allows unlimited users, and you pay based on how many computers you are accessing). It is very easy to use, with very few kinks. It also is very nice that it saves the log-in information to the computer so that you don't have to type it every time.

Cons:

The mobile app is a bit frustrating because it changes the resolution of the screen you are remote accessing, I assume because it's trying to make things more visible, but then you can't see the other parts of the screen or certain buttons on the program that we use the most. It would be nice if it was optional to change the resolution, but it does it automatically. I would like to just zoom in when necessary and otherwise see the entire screen.

Comments: Overall I've had no issues with LogMeInPro just the set up, it's a capable and reliable piece of software which I have no problem using on a regular basis.

Pros:

I like how you can seemlessly connect to client's computers.

Cons:

The requirement for the user to have LogMeIn Pro installed beforehand.

Value Remote Desktop Solution

Comments: Can be used to have a remote access solution for your business for access and support purposes. Great control system for administrators and a great concept behind it.
Downside is the need to have the local administrator rights to be able to log in.

Pros:

Logmein can be easy to manage via their web interface and desktop application. Is a low cost solution to a large remote control environment. Allows you to control and track user access, can be used from a mobile device which can be extremely useful in certain situations.

Cons:

To remote access the computer you have to have the local or domain administrator credentials. If i wanted to give a non admin user access to their desktop PC from their laptop it is not possible to accomplish via logmein. Desktop client has extremely limited functionality - most of the management has to be done from the web interface that has poor support for popular browsers like Chrome.

Excellent Tool for Administrators

Comments: Very easy to access. Customer support is always there to help if there might be an issue

Pros:

Easy to use and the cost is low for the value you receive

There is nothing that stands out for me to give a CON

Great Software, but Too Expensive

Comments: I loved it until the price became too prohibitive to continue using it.

Pros:

I liked the Remote Access feature, the ability to remotely manage without connecting to the screen.

Cons:

After they hiked up their prices, we switched to a cheaper alternative.

LogMeIn Pro - no longer free but still good

Comments: Overall it is a decent product and price is right for small licenses needed. It would be better if it can re-offer free version for personal use

Pros:

I have used LogMeIn for personal use since Free version still exist. I have switched to Teamviewer for personal use when it no longer free but still have use the Pro version for business use Have to admit that connecting from a web interface instead of an installed client is the true convenience over TeamViewer (which still needs a client installation from where you initiate the remote connection) Connection speed is good without much lag (the lag is acceptable compare with other competitors) Although LogMeIn allows multiple connections to a single host but my usage is mainly one to one support, therefore, I am not taking advantage of this feature. Price started from single license with Pro version (as opposed with 25 license for Central) and it is cheaper than any Teamviewer business version Can logon with Domain authentication make it a more Enterprise solution

Cons:

unlike Teamviewer, it does not offer any free version at all for personal use I find the sound quality an issue with LogMeIn

Comments: Very happy with the overall experience. Managing multiple PC's which are located in different countries.

Pros:

Work both in browser & Client application. User management and permission options. Feels same as local computer as it has various resolution options

Cons:

Pricing seems to be on the higher side..

LogMeIn

Comments: Overall it's fine, I've used better though. It can be a real pain when you are trying to host a meeting and display things from your remote computer. You have to transfer everything over to the physical computer you're on.

Pros:

It's easy to login, set up my desktop, and use most of the functionality of my desktop at work.

Cons:

It logs out a lot, the screen resolution isn't great, and voice/video does not work from remote desktop.

Comments: i got the problem solved and i received the help from the worker because she could actually see what was going on with the t v and read the error code. I needed a new box which i did not like but that is an issue i have with direct t.v, since my bill went up with the new box.

Pros:

THE DIRECT T V CUSTOMER service worker was able to get serial numbers from the box that i could not see

Cons:

giving up the privacy of my dwelling as i moved around

Switcher from TeamViewer and have never been happier

Comments: This software has worked really well. I work from home often and also while traveling. It’s a very good and dependable software.

Pros:

Ease of use. You can stay logged on. Normally no problems. Very rarely disconnects.

Cons:

I had to buy a bigger laptop because seeing the screen became problematic.

Remote technical assitance

Comments: HUGE time saver!

Pros:

It's been a little while since I've used this software but it was integral to a change in software that was implemented at my previous job. I was able to remotely view a co-worker's computer in order to more effectively troubleshoot technical issues for her. Being that she was not tech savvy at all, this was the easiest way to help her. It saved me many hours of driving back and forth to help her. I have also used it extensively with my mother and my mother-in-law, both of whom are less than proficient in technology. This software allows me to teach them remotely, in real time and with appropriate feedback, the skills they need on the computer as well as talk them through software installation and upgrades. I can't begin to describe how much travel time LogMeIn has saved me!

Cons:

There isn't really a con to the software, per se. The only issue is that there has to be a prerequisite modicum of technical ability for the person I am trying to help before we can even proceed. Guiding someone through the setup process blindly isn't easy but that's not really the fault of the program.

Pros:

I love LogMeIn Pro. It allows all of my employees to be able to log into their work computers remotely. We are a small company, and sometimes things happen - a child is sick or you need to access your computer from home. Also, it is great to allow my employees to work remotely if needed. Works well and is easy to use. It enables employees to access business paid programs that they may not have on their home computers by accessing their work computer to get to the program and work. Minimizes downtime and increases productivity.

Cons:

There are other cheaper and even free programs that allow a user to log in remotely (remote desktop connection) as long as the computer is powered on. Of course, this alternative has its disadvantages as well. No other issues with LogMeIn other than the competition. Do some price shopping to see what works best for your company

Great Software, But Better Values Can Be Found

Comments: The software is great. It is fast, works well, and had a lot of extra features. It is one of the few remote software's that allows you to interact with the UAT prompt, which is really important. I would still be using it today if they hadn't gone up significantly on their prices.

The speed and features of the software in most cases.

Cons:

The pricing model and recent cost increases.

Remote access to any computer from anywhere in the world.

Pros:

This is a great software to connect and manage remote connections. You can create and manage users and give them access to selected computers all from a simple to use portal. Connection quality is always top notch and packages are very flexible.

Cons:

The in browser connection window can be slow and buggy at times but at the end of the day is a great alternative to downloading the exe.

Wonderful Tool

Comments: The ability to run payroll remotely or pay liabilities if you didn't get to it during the day; can print reports either at the computer's location or at your desk; can assist another person sitting at the remote computer

Pros:

Ability to remotely "sit" at another desktop without leaving your office! Or you forgot to retrieve a file, with this you can just login and print it at your desk!

Cons:

I have not found anything that I don't particularly like about the product. Haven't used all the available options, but the ones I have work great

Comments: Overall it is a good product and makes working outside of the office easier.

Pros:

It is very easy to login and use at any time of the day. I have not had any issues with LogMeIn.

Cons:

Depending on what I am working on, the view on the screen is smaller than my regular computer screen. Then I have to adjust my viewing size.

LogMeIn Pro

Pros:

Overall better than most other remote connection software. Easy enough to use and deploy. Stores passwords to make logins much simpler.

Cons:

Personally prefer it only on server environment. Limited to 1 user being connected at a time. Can be difficult when adding profiles from other administrators.

Work on computers remotely and efficiently

Comments: I got the trial to see if it would aid me in servicing my clients remotely. I will have to look elsewhere for something to do that, however I am considering it for remote work on distant PCs I own, as well as for doing remote work on my wife's pc when I am away from home.

Pros:

This software allows one to work from home, or access remote computers with ease. It is fast, efficient, and relatively simple to set up. It is similar to the Remote Service software technicians use to work on customer PCs remotely, but establishes a more permanent connection and requires you to know the login details to the remote PC.

Cons:

Price is very high and paid on a yearly basis; you don't own the software, you rent it. It is unsuitable to tech repair jobs at a distance unless the customer provides you with login details for their computer. It would be very useful for working from home, in a situation where all that info was avaialable, but not for commercial support purposes.

Well rounded product

Pros:

Logmein Pro comes with good suite of features that makes remote support a breeze. It more than just a remote access tool.

Cons:

The remote agents can become corrupt and stop functioning. Remote sessions struggle to connect on slower internet connections.

Logmein is a great business tool for technology professionals

Pros:

1. Easy to search for computer names. 2. Easy to install LogMeIn agent on client PCs. 3. Deployment link is easy way of installing the application on clients.

Cons:

1. Cost is affordable but could be a tiny bit cheaper.

Good software, very overpriced

Pros:

Reliable, easy to use. Core functionality works great.

Cons:

Terrible support, constant price increases without improvements in software quality. iOS app has gone unchanged for years. Very, very overpriced.

Get to your PC's even wherever there is Internet.

Comments: I set all my clients up with this if they want a reliable, easy to use remote desktop software. The app for iPad is super intuitive and it makes for a great travel. Remote sound and printer are very good features.

Pros:

This is a great and stable user friendly application. Great for small businesses because of the reliable iPad app, which lets you log in with ease anywhere you go linking you back to your computer and files on the go. This programme for remote desktop has long been a favourite of my clients purely for the ease of use. Remote device printing is a great feature this does natively very well.

Cons:

Latest versions are not always mac compatible for the native application, but you can always use a stripped down HTML browser based remote desktop. Secondly passing keyboard shortcuts through remote desktop can always be temperamental, many times it has worked, but on occasion CTRL + A, for instance hasn't worked.

Functionality issues hinder an otherwise great product

Comments: Would try it out for yourself first before diving into the software

Pros:

LogMeIn Pro has a lot of features, is easy to setup, carries a lot of secure connection features, and enhances productivity as a great remote desktop application.

Cons:

The features are great and the setup is easy. However, the remote desktop features has many errors at times. I can't see my screen sometimes and other times, it takes a long time to load. It makes the software hard to recommend or trust to work.
