The best app for receiving contracts abroad

Comments: There's just compliments. I don't know how I would receive money from companies abroad if I didn't know Deel.

Pros:

Deel is a very simple and amazing platform for contractors. It is simple to manage contracts and receive money, the money arrives really fast (in seconds it is on my Wise account). I can get earlier withdraws when needed, and I feel it is a very solid application.

Cons:

I didn't know they had a mobile app. I downloaded it last week, and I think I feel even more complete with that

Comments: Dues what it says on the tin, sometimes can be a challenging submitting timesheets but it works

Pros:

I get paid quickly directly into my account without any fees and looks quite secure with 2FA

Cons:

Can be a little difficult to navigate and some of the menus are a bit hidden otherwise it works okay

Comments: Excellent.
They care for the people.
Deel understands that we might be facing financial difficulties at times and they offered an advance salary.

Pros:

I was able to get my advance salary which helped me a lot. I also needed a pay slip and I was able to find it and use it for my motorcycle loan. Thank you.

None so far. I like everything about it.

Best payment website for freelancers

Comments: I am very happy with all the features especially payroll managment, salary reception, withdrawal options are very much useful and critical for my business activities.

Pros:

Ease of setting up multi-country payroll and payment reception in multiple currencies. Website is very easy to navigate and find any option that is required. Deel offers wide vareity of withdrawal options such as Paypal, payooner, local and international bank transfers, crypto wallet transfers etc... which is very useful and convenient.

Cons:

Transaction fee could be a little lower especially conversion fee to different payment options.

A very easy to use payment software

Comments: Overall, my experience has been great. My boss asked me to look for ways I could receive payments along with my other team members, I found Deel, and until now, payments are on time, costs are less and we don't have to wait too much time to receive the money on our bank account.

Pros:

I like the fact that I can have a contract and automatically receive my payments on time.

Cons:

I would like to be elegible for a Deel card. Also, the bank where my debit card is associated no longer accept Deel's transactions, but I still can get the money through Swift, which is expensive.

Alternatives Considered: Payoneer

Reasons for Choosing Deel: Costs from PayPal were very high, but the decision was made when the bank didn't accept PayPal no more.

Switched From: PayPal

Reasons for Switching to Deel: Low fees, the hability to have individual contracts and automated invoices. But specially, I read many reviews and were positive.

For the majority of businesses, the advantages of having a single, streamlined solution for international payments and contracts will almost probably outweigh the relatively slight disadvantages. Businesses and contractors alike obtain the tools, direction, and certainty they need to expand and operate cooperatively across borders with Deel.

Pros:

Deel streamlines and makes onboarding new international contractors simple. Through Deel's user-friendly platform, tasks that once took weeks to accomplish, such as opening local bank accounts, completing tax forms, and creating contracts, may now be finished in a matter of minutes. Contractors start operating rapidly so they can begin adding value right away. The quick and simple onboarding process also increases the likelihood that contractors would want to stay on board with the company.

Cons:

Although Deel offers a complete solution for managing contractors around the world, the platform has little flexibility for companies that need customization outside of the built-in features and processes. Deel may not give the flexibility to fully configure the software to fit the precise compliance, payroll, or reporting demands of businesses with very specific requirements. Deel is best suited for companies who are happy to use the majority of its core features without having to considerably customize the platform.

Best solution when you need to hire someone globally

Pros:

1. An industry leader that entered the market early in terms of international salary and compliance.2. The solutions are relatively comprehensive, with both contractor and EOR options available. There are physical entities in Russia and Belarus, and our services are not outsourced through third parties.3.The platform itself is free, and services are charged. The overall price is low, with no startup fees. Compared to several other suppliers, Deel' prices have an advantage.4. The settlement exchange rate is close to our daily algorithm and is reasonable.5. Invoicing is done on the 25th of each month for settlement, and salaries are paid to employees on the last day of each month, which is more convenient for our internal salary settlement and adjustment.6. It is worth mentioning that [sensitive content hidden], the Sales Consultant we are working with, is one of the main reasons we chose DEEL. He is fluent in both Chinese and English, has a very positive and proactive attitude, responds quickly, provides professional services, and has a professional understanding of payment risks in Belarus and Russia. He will be in charge of our entire project and will also provide us with a customer service team in the future.

Cons:

During our usage, there have been settlement issues due to exchange rate fluctuations, but [sensitive content hidden] was very helpful and we were able to reach a reasonable solution in the end. We haven't thought of any particular issues at the moment.

Simply amazing

Pros:

All the different options you have to administrate your payroll are great and really easy to understand. The "Deel Card" and "Deel Advance" features are excellent.

Cons:

It would be nice to have your contracts information in the same page where you see all your contracts listed (as an expandable module instead of move to another URL).

Modern HR tool to ease remote hires

Comments: We have been a Deel customer for several years, and are overall very happy with the experience. It has made it easier for us to grow in markets were we do not have entities or benefits.

Pros:

I truly like the EOR model of Deel. We have started using this feature more extensively and it has been a success for our ability to hire candidates remotely. We also use the contractor feature that is helpful to us as well, and is a cheaper option.

Cons:

A company that grows changes a lot, and we have had quite a few CSMs over the years we have used Deel. Making building a relationship a bit harder.

Pros:

I love the ease of use - everything is straightforward and well documented. I manage my contracts, days off, and get paid through Deel. It's a rare thing in software, but I never really second guess any action I have to do within this platform, as the actions and their outcomes are always pretty obvious. Also shout out to their Support team! They are fast, precise, and do not mind dumb questions.

Cons:

I'd love to use a mobile app, but Deel only has a web application.

Never have to worry about our international workforce

Comments: Their CS team is the best. Periodically, they make sure to check in with us to see if there are any ways they can improve or assist. They will also make sure that we're aware of new useful feature or tool. Whenever we have a question, they make sure to respond asap and help us out.

Pros:

What I like most about Deel is that they make sure you are compliant in every location you'd like to employ in. Whether there are policy changes in existing contracts, or you'd like to hire in a new country, I can count on their expertise and advise to make solid decisions about expanding our workforce.

Cons:

I wish we could integrate Deel with our US HR system, to pull in the information straight to Gusto for example.

deel empowers international remote workers

Comments: Very satisfied, fair exchange rates and transfer fees, easy to use interface, apparently good security practices. Good benefits. Good variety of withdrawal methods

Pros:

one of the few platforms where I can get payments for international remote work in Paraguay without absurd banking fees and with fair exchange rates. Their virtual card is pretty useful too. The advance payment feature is neat although I haven't needed it yet.

Cons:

unfortunately they don't ship physical cards to my country and not many business accept their virtual card in my country, but the card is not the main point of this service anyways and it's likely not their fault. Also it seems they don't update that often (if at all) their information on available banks for my country, I wanted to use a bank here that's pretty young but it's not listed. Furthermore they don't support USD payments through a local bank transfer in my country only through swift which is more expensive.

My review on Deel

Comments: In general it is a very good experience. Everything works just fine for more than 2 years, the money is there in time, quick withdraws. I had the chance to use support aswell, they were fantastic, with a quick response.

Pros:

- That offers payroll on many countries, and made it easier for developers from outside of European Union to work. - You can get a Deel advance and pay for it later if you need some money - You can order a debit card and use it for paying with Deel - You can withdraw your money in different platforms

Cons:

- For not having a tax advice or tax service for my country - Kosovo. I am struggling with taxes here, since it is taking much time for me to do all the things

Bad on all fronts

Comments: Nothing short of bad, a road full of hiccups and disaster.
it was so bad that <2 months in we started looking at switching to another provider.

Pros:

1. it allows you to hire and pay remote employees in a long list of countries and comply with the local laws 2. the onboarding uploading screen of the documents needed is fairly straightforward

Cons:

1. the admin has no clue where each one of his onboarding employees is at in that stage (if they have finished it , if there are bottlenecks 2. the UI is nothing short of a disaster - in order for you to try and find things like trying to resubmit expenses you need to click on your contract instead of actually have a dedicated expenses section. it feels that it was built as an after-thought 3. we've switched from another similar tool where we thought wasn't great but Deel is a freefall (it took me to get the actual counter contract once I've signed mine digitally a week, they aren't really aware of the local legal or much of the regulations so their support isn't really helpful and disconnected form your customer success. 4. we've been on the phone with them daily for over 6 weeks now past the onboarding to try and solve so many hiccups including miscalculations from their end of payments, lack of benefit enrollment
