Love using Wix!
Comments: Overall, I really enjoy this resource and using it to help small businesses build stylish and useful websites.
Pros:
It's incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. You can build really professional-looking sites without having to have this depth of skill or experience.
Cons:
The AI generation is still coming together; it's a great tool, but does require proofing and tweaking to personalize.

Customer Support saves the day...
Pros:
I loved the person who helped me in the customer support. I was assigned [sensitive content hidden] as my support person, and they were FABULOUS. I had a fairly complicated issue and they helped me trouble shoot it for over an hour. I was on the support line with Legal zoom (the cause of the original issue), and [sensitive content hidden] helped me find a work around because the legal zoom people were no help. I like Wix overall too, but my reasoning for leaving this review was solely because of the support I received from [sensitive content hidden], THANK YOU [sensitive content hidden]!!! The 8/10 for recommending to a colleague was solely bc there isn't a help number to be found.
Cons:
I hate that there is no support line to call directly, but a chat bot that I have to go to & be redirected thru chat forum not a live person on a phone call. It was insanely frustrating until I found the lovely [sensitive content hidden] to help me.
Alternatives Considered:
If you have no experience building a webiste, don't use Wix if your using it for DYI. Very complicated.
Comments: It's gave some people somewhere to see what my business offers but that's it.
Pros:
not really sure, I guess the domain part. This was a very challenging product for me to use. They provide many avenues for you to be able to have and do multiple things on your webiste, but for someone with no website building experience, these are very challenging and time consuming.
Cons:
As I said above, you need to take a class on how to use Wix and I simply don't have time for that.
Why I think you should give WIX Website Builder a try.
Comments: My overall experience with WIX has been excellent. I've had a few issues over the years but the support has helped work things out. Once WIX figures out a way to have the support easier to reach, then I will give it a 10 out of 10 score.
Pros:
I have been using WIX Website Builder for years and I am very familiar with how it works. It's user friendly and there's plenty of search options to find what you are looking for or to get steps on how to do something. It has tons of options and stays current with the latest trends.
Cons:
The only issue I have found with Wix is the amount of time it takes to get to talk to a person. There's too many questions even though I understand they are trying to narrow down the problem so the customer can fix it themselves but at times, the customer may just need to talk to someone for help. This can increase stress and anxiety when there's already a problem that the customer is having and to keep pushing questions on them, Well, this will raise the frustrations.
A Stress-Free, Flexible Website Builder with Endless Possibilities
Comments: My overall experience with Wix has been fantastic. It’s easy to use, with lots of flexibility to create a unique website without needing coding skills. The templates are beautiful, and adding features like an online store or blog is super straightforward. Whenever I had questions, the support resources were really helpful. Wix made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free!
Pros:
What I love most about Wix is how easy it makes everything. The drag-and-drop builder is super simple, even if you're not techy, and there are so many great templates to choose from! Plus, the app options let you add features like online stores or bookings in just a few clicks. It's quick, flexible, and lets you design a website that looks amazing without any hassle.
Cons:
The only downside with Wix is that once you choose a template, you’re pretty much locked into it unless you want to start from scratch. Also, while the editor is powerful, it can feel a bit overwhelming with so many options to choose from. But overall, it’s still a great platform for building a website.
Alternatives Considered:
The last hosting site you'll need
Comments: I had another platform for my website but it was old and out of date. It was also really limited to updating pages and almost no other apps could integrate with it it.
Pros:
It's so easy to customize, especially if you don't have a big design background and get overwhelmed with techy stuff
Cons:
The only thing I don't like about wix is the lack of ability to display the checkout options. I've seen pages where the full checkout process is on the same screen as the product which isnt the case with wix. Other than that i love it
My experience with Wix
Comments: My overall experience with Wix has been quite positive. It’s very user-friendly with an intuitive drag-and-drop editor, making design easy even for beginners. The wide selection of templates keeps the site looking modern and professional, and there’s a good range of apps for added features. However, the limited export options and occasional loading delays are small drawbacks. Overall, it’s a strong choice for creating a polished site quickly and with minimal hassle.
Pros:
I love its drag-and-drop Visual Editor, which allows you to customize any element of the site. It's ideal for beginners. It has a wide variety of modern, fully customizable templates for every industry. They're very diverse, so your site will always look professional and appealing. Additionally, you can build a personalized website with AI based on what you request.
Cons:
What I don’t like about Wix is that it doesn’t allow exporting the full site content, which means starting from scratch if you want to migrate. Some apps require additional payments, which increases the total cost of the site. Sometimes, sites created on Wix can be a bit slow to load, especially if they have many visual elements, apps, etc.

Wix is your best friend for anyone who is looking to start website building!
Comments: Wix is a decent program for people who are new to building websites. They have attractive components and it is incredibly easy to use this platform. Customization was lacking, which was the reason we ended up abandoning this in favor of another platform.
Pros:
Wix is a straightforward user-friendly platform. Making websites is a breeze when using Wix. Perfect for someone who is new to website building.
Cons:
You don't have a lot of bandwidth to host things on Wix. Its application is rudimentary, and its overall variety is lacking.
What does wix lack?
Comments: It has it pros and cons as mentioned but as a big product user it helped to cater my needs most of the time
Pros:
Wix is an incredible app in which I can control my smart lights and other smart products I liked how immediately it connected to my smart products and it is really easy to pair
Cons:
I didn't like that the site keeps updating a lot time to time which is very weird and when I don't use the app for more than few days it just signs you out which is disappointing
Alternatives Considered:
Comes with many features and easy to use
Comments: Overall it is has many features that can be added to the websites. It is easy to manage and allows easy updates. It is worth the annual cost.
Pros:
It has many features to allow one to easily build a personalized website. I ise Wix.com to build and host my website for my small bakery shop. It takes some time to get familiar with the features but they are dependable and easy to use. Its not as great as programming your own website but it great for someone who doesn't know programming or wants to save time. Its easy to manage and update at any time.
Cons:
You can choose from many features to add to the website but they have limited capabilities and sometimes you're looking for a feature that is not available.

Intuitive Website Maker
Comments: My experience has been stellar when compared with other websites I have tried in the past. If you are looking for website hosting with quick (2-3 hours) easy to create websites that still feel custom designed, then Wix is definitely edging out the competition.
Pros:
The software feels more intuitive and customizable than other website competitors. You can easily have your site up and running within 2-3 hours. The domain sourcing and hosting being included is another advantage over other competitors I was researching, which would of cost me 25-50% more. I have never experienced any down time from the servers being offline either.
Cons:
The website templates could be expanded to include more options for photographers with better gallery display options. In addition I found that the mobile view option when designing the templates was not always compatible or at least the designs did not always fully translate to mobile the way I was envisioning. Please include a better or more updated mobile website design as most my clients are going to be viewing my website on their phone, not on their laptop.
Must Have for any Small to Medium Size Business
Comments: The savings is tremendous using the Wix software. I no longer need a custom programmer, and it saves my staff and I hours updating the web site. Their blog is very simple to set up and maintain - another plus for us as we use it on a daily basis. This software is a real time saver, the templates are professional and their support staff is very responsive and knowledgeable. I can't recommend this enough!
Pros:
Excellent user experience, get started in minutes - there is no ramp up time to use this software. They have a powerful drag and drop editor , and you don't need any coding skills although coding is an option for the experienced users - a plus for any business. Make changes, add or remove text boxes, buttons, videos and more – within only a few clicks. There are hundreds of templates to choose from or you can create your site from scratch. They have an extensive help center - you can find answers to any questions and their are videos showing how to use their system.
Cons:
Their SEO component is not as robust as it could be. While you can get the basics done, I struggled with trying to use advanced features and ended up using another program to do it.

Professional Websites for the Average Person
Comments:
As a solopreneur, creating a website for my online business was important. When I realized how expensive it would be to hire a web designer, I knew I needed to figure it out on my own. Wix allowed me to do that.
I was surprised at how easy the drag and drop templates made it, and how simple it was to customize the templates. Often times you will be told "Don't use a template that everyone uses. But Wix allows you to take that templates and fully customize it to your brand.
To make it even better, the pricing for Wix Pro is perfect. It is significantly more affordable than going through a platform like GoDaddy, and 10x easier to use.
Pros:
My favorite thing about Wix are the drag and drop themes. Wix takes the website themes to the next level by allowing you to customize the template you have chosen.
Cons:
My least favorite thing about this platform is sometimes the web design platform is a pain. By this I mean, while creating your websites, you will run into times where layers of your design will become jumbled, or the overlapping overlays will make it difficult to access an element or text block you are trying to move. For this reason, it is important to save your website as a draft frequently while designing.

Professional Website for the Small Entrepreneur
Comments: I have enjoyed using the Wix platform to create and manage my business website. I have also used it to design websites for my clients. The platform has a variety of features that can give any website a professional look and feel. The accompanying mobile app has helped me quickly respond to inquiries left on my website by prospective clients. The app also has the added feature of letting me know when someone is on my website and what part of the county they are browsing from. I have recommended Wix to many of my colleagues, and I will continue to do so in the future.
Pros:
Wix makes it easy to have a beautiful, professional website without any coding experience. Using this software I was able to create an online portfolio to showcase my graphic design work. I have received compliments from many clients and prospects on the aesthetic and professionalism of my website.
Cons:
I did notice that the website editor can get a bit slow and glitchy if you do not refresh the page often while working on your website. Also, the monthly subscription price point is a bit high, but considerable savings can be achieved with an annual subscription, especially when there is a sale.
Alternatives Considered:
Great service for setting up a new website!
Comments: Overall, the ease of use and simple beauty of Wix is, for me, well worth the premium I pay. If I can pay a little extra to save a whole lot of time and headache, I do - and Wix lets me do exactly that.
Pros:
Wix is incredibly easy to use, especially with Wix's ADI (Artificial Design Intelligence). I have zero knowledge of web design, let alone design in and of itself. Using Wix's ADI I was able to make a gorgeous website for my company that continues to get compliments. It's very easy to update the website with new information, which is a must-have for me. I've rarely had issues with speed or usability - Wix just works.
Cons:
Wix can be expensive. The price for ease of use seems to be higher premiums for what would be a given elsewhere - specifically, higher plans within their "website plans" tier only really offer marketing incentives (in my opinion) that expire after a year of use. Sure, you get more storage as well - but $5/mo just for an extra 10GB of storage (from Unlimited plan to Pro plan) seems a little steep, given that for $0.05 I could store the same amount on Backblaze B2 and use a Wordpress instance. In short, anything beyond the basic Combo plan seems obtusely overpriced. Moreover, every single time I enter Wix to edit my site, I feel I'm met with annoying advertisements to get a custom email, get a custom domain, etc. etc. which are just advertisements for services I already have elsewhere (though lately these have calmed down).

Wix is a great CMS with a few Issues
Comments: Overall it's a great platform. It has really powerful features and add-on apps that can bring life and amazing capabilities to your website. Plus they are always improving things...
Pros:
Wix is one of the best CMS website platform on the market. It requires no coding skills and very little technical skills. You do have to be pretty savvy with using design software but they offer a really cool self built templates that you just plug in your information and your good to go. After working with Wix for a couple of years it becomes easier and easier to use. I love their design templates. It makes it easy to design amazing website with little design skills.
Cons:
The biggest issue I have with Wix is that it's sometimes hard to line up images and text with their drag and drop features. Also, their mobile response feature is very weak. You will have to build the site on the desktop and then have to rearrange everything again for the mobile view which can sometimes be very tedious.
Wix is leading the way in website design!
Comments: I have found that by switching to Wix, my business is more of what I want it to be. I have more control of the feel and look of my business. The money I’ve saved has been phenomenal. They may not offer all the bells and whistles of larger brands, but 99% of the time you don’t need or want those bells or whistles. The larger brands charge wether you use them or not.
Pros:
The most innovative feature Wix offers is the right click feature in editing your images or text. The drag and drop feature combined with the right click feature, makes designing or editing a breeze. Wix allows the most customization with their templates than any of the competitors. This allows you to create your website to reflect your vision.
Cons:
There are a couple of cons to Wix. 1) Once you pick a template, you cannot change to a different template. However, if you’re constantly changing the over all design, you’re wasting time and revenue. Have a clear vision for your website, and stick to it. 2) Although you have multiple avenues to contact customer service, a live person at inquiry is not one of them. You might have to take multiple steps to fix a problem, but they always pull through with a solution.
Alternatives Considered:
Wix a different platform that allos you to do more advancd customization
Comments: My overall experience is positive, I found support helpful when I've needed it, they have really good promo plans and that platform works well overall.
Pros:
I like that I don't have to just use templates and can make almost any type of design I want if I know how to either code or I can do a more experienced drag and drop with the advanced editor.
Cons:
My biggest flaw with Wix is that there is a lot of programs that can not implement with Wix because of no supp[ort on wixes end. This makes it a lot harder to implement systems that I like using and would prefer to use when searching for platforms such as rental systems, eCommerce, live chats.

Wix Page Builder Review
Comments: I use it for creat dropshipping stores and land pages, and some times is hard to make some customization for clients because of the lack of options of plugins and possibilities of creations using the template.
Pros:
I like the beautiful templates and the drag and drop functions. Its also very intuitive tool for the users. The problem is when we need some kind of customization... Then starts the problems with this tool.
Cons:
For create landing pages and stores is not so good because of the lack of plugins and some difficulties for customize the choseed template.
Wix, Your Potential Business Site Builder or No?
Comments: Overall my experience with wix has been great. By using wix I'm eliminating business problems by being able to create professional template alternatives, providing an easy and understanding website creator, and showing products I am selling easily for customers to view and purchase if they need to. Benefits I realize I have by using Wix is that I am able to provide excellent customer service to my clients and this helps me gain a more clientele and great reviews/ratings from customers.
Pros:
Overall I really like using wix as a website builder. I believe the most impactful features wix provides is having many customized options like using artistic illustrations and templates to add to your site, you're able to have a professional logo of your own, customer support is easy to connect with, and you're able to discover new techniques that show you different ways of providing services to customers. Integrations were fairly easy for me to do with existing business processes I use like Goodle Drive, PayPal and Zapier.
Cons:
I didn't really find any features that weren't useful for any business to use when creating his website. The only issue I did have a few times was sometimes Wix lags with internet connection and can a little time to load. But this issue has only occured twice for me. As mentioned before no difficulties happened for me when integrating with existing business processes I currently use.

Wix: world easiest drag-drop website builder
Comments: My overall experience with Wix has been positive. My expertise in website building is limited, but Wix made it easy for me. There are a lot of features I love about Wix, including e-commerce, multiple payment gateways integrations, and automation emails.
Pros:
Wix is best tool for quick starting web designing without coding. If you are an entrepreneur or a small business owner, you can build a website on a budget. Wix also offers paid and free plans with a lot of feathers, built-in templates, and SEO tools. There are all the features you need to build a simple, customizable, and pleasing website at first glance with this tool. Probably, the biggest reason people prefer Wix is the speed at which they can build a website and the ease at which they can update it.
Cons:
Compared to other platforms, Wix websites can sometimes appear less professional. Your website's user experience will be diminished when you build it with a DIY site builder, which can lead to lost customers and revenue. It is not good to use the free version of this platform because it contains a watermark.
Wix.com is the place to get your website!
Comments: I absolutely love wix.com. theu have everything you need to get your website up and running with the flexibility to create and customize the site that you envision having. It's easy, quick, and less expensive than the competitors.
Pros:
The thing I like most about Wix.com is how easy, professional, and affordable they make getting a website for your personal oluse or business. I have a wix.com business site and people constantly comment on how nice and modern my site looks and how easy it is to navigate. I know it said what do I like MOST about Wix.com but it's hard to pick just one thing.
Cons:
I guess if I have to pick something it's the fact that I can't create a custom web address without paying for it. If you want to create multiple pages to share photos and give clients the ability to download them and share with their business partners and it doesn't look professional without a custom web address.

Best Customer Service you could ever ask for
Pros:
Wix had the easiest site to build myself (and I tried a couple of them). Anything I couldn't figure out how to do, I would just contact Wix and talk to a customer service representative. I've had a few very good customer service reps that are patient, kind, and extremely helpful. There is one in particular though named [sensitive content hidden] that I've been so lucky to get a couple of times and she really is phenomenal. She is the primary reason I recommend Wix to any and all entrepreneurs who ask me what site builder to use. She helped me set up my content management system on the website which makes it so easy to update, add and edit content. She is the kindest, most patient customer service rep I've ever worked with and really goes the extra mile to make sure it's easy for me to do whatever I'm trying to do. She listens and knows exactly what I want, but also anticipates what I need without me even asking!
Cons:
Some of the responsive features to help the site automatically adjust between web and mobile make the spacing look funky. Other than that, it's an awesome tool.
Great for artists and start-ups
Comments: I keep coming back to Wix over Squarespace is because the pros outweigh the cons. It’s a lot of work to get things looking and functioning exactly as you want it to, but once it does then I can genuinely say it pays off in the end.
Pros:
After years of coding my own sites, I took the plunge into Wix. At first it was to create a quick site for a musical we were producing and we got a deal for starting up. I must admit I was expecting a lot of limitations in design and not enough features to make it worth a full web campaign. I was surprised to find out how well Wix worked on many levels. Design: I have always felt boxed in with templates like Wordpress, but Wix allowed a lot of freedom in creating the look and feel I wanted. SEO: Wix had quickly established itself as a solid and reliable web creation platform that our search rankings were immediately higher than I’ve ever had.
Cons:
My biggest dislike is with the mobile layout function and layout. I do like control of what you can see on mobile verses desktop, but I wish there could be more options. Also, because it’s not a dynamic template, you need to create two different layouts (desktop and mobile) which doubles the work time. Some may prefer this, but where it hits me is when you make a change in the desktop, any edits you thought you locked in on the mobile side are lost and you have to spend time making fixes. I wish there was a dynamic option that allowed for just one layout, but I guess that’s why there’s Squarespace.
To Wix or not to Wix? That is the question… Painless Web Development Platform
Pros:
Creating your first website can sound quite tedious, especially if you don’t know the first thing about web design (SEO, headers, alt tags, etc.). With over 500 beautifully seamless templates to choose from you can guarantee there will be one of your liking that will help you reach a nice starting point. After spending many hours searching for the best entry level, website development platform, I made the decision to go with Wix (rather than some of its well-known equivalents, i.e. WordPress or SquareSpace). I created my first website for an academic, student led organization in college without any prior knowledge in web development. My experience with Wix greatly exceeded my expectations; I quickly crafted and completed my own website in as little as a week, for free. If you’re looking to build a website that is intuitive and low cost, Wix won’t disappoint; there are millions of “WIXers” around the world. Keep in mind there are situations where Wix may suite your needs better than others. The free plan would work great for anyone at an entry-level, freelancer, start-up/non-profit organization, and/or even bloggers looking to craft a simplistic website for little to no cost associated. As things progress, you can manage your subscription as needed; for complex websites or fairly large websites I would be more inclined to go with a paid plan of Wix or switching to an alternative like WordPress (which is close to equivalent in price comparison). This route would be more beneficial for large sized businesses, or fairly large, stable organizations; as it would provide more bandwidth, storage, and assistance in development. For beginning gurus you may find that the website management/development are out of your expertise, (coding, installing, backups, etc.) so there are times you may need to involve outside help. Pros: - Easy drop and drag web development platform suitable or any entry level or beginners with little to no experience and no prior knowledge of coding required - Options to create website utilizing either: Wix editor (for those who would like to create their own website) or Wix Artificial Design Intelligence (for those less tech savvy, you can complete a questionnaire on what you would like your website to look like and have Wix assemble it for you!) - Provides over 400 pristine and stunning templates you can choose from and personalize to your needs - Offers all the website necessities to help you keep your website authority up to par: GDPR compliance settings and forms, SEO, mobile web-builder, google page rankings, and analytics on web performance - Compatible with various plugins and applications you can add-on to your website (you can almost always find any plugin your need or one very similar to the one you may be looking for) - Features that allow you to add forms to web pages, create social media posts, live-chat with web visitors, embed videos, market events, create blog posts, etc.
Cons:
- The free version of this platform places Wix advertisements on your website and does not provide the option to personalize your own domain (free version subdomains are set up like this: username.wixsite.com) - Utilizing the free version, make sure to optimize all images and compress videos before uploading to your website to maximize the amount of storage available to you. You may also notice that the free version of Wix tends to take a while to load your website (heavily automating your website will most definitely slow things down)
