I am able to track my time by client. Every time I open a time slot for my client needs, I can record the time spent and create an invoice for it.

Perhaps being able to automate the opening of the time recorder based on a opening a file instead of having to remember to do it.

QB Time: Please reconsider

Pros:

This is a simple system if you're managing a small group of staff. It is evident that any volume in excess of 50 staff members should not be managed through QB Times.

Cons:

With a higher volume of staff, and managing varying disciplines, there's too many limitations on QB time to manage staff effectively. QB Time needs to streamline the filters and groupings because with all breakdowns, that include additional filter breakdowns, it's easy to get caught in the weeds using this software. This opens up opportunity for billing service hours incorrectly. The addition of the random "unresolved" bugs that come up further justifies why we switched from this software.

A nice time tracking complement to businesses wanting to report time from anywhere.

Comments: Overall QuickBooks Time is a solid software to report time sheets on the go and have the ability to sort hours and expenses into predetermined projects.

Pros:

The thing I liked the most about QuickBooks Time was it's easy integration with other QuickBooks products like QuickBooks Online.

Cons:

Occasionally we had issues with giving proper permissions to coworkers to view their paystubs or previously reported time.

Nice idea but somehow confusing

Comments: We’re excited about it and thought that we dont need to other paid websites which mean less work by that i mean the transfer from another website to another. Unfortunately, it was too difficult due to some approval issues from our-side and how confusing it is

Pros:

I like the idea of how they try to include labour time and try to make it easy for the user which is nice

Cons:

Unfortunately, for my team and i, it was somewhat difficult and confusing. I’m not sure if it’s the wrong setting but when we decided to move the labour time in the invoice, it need admin approval which is quite annoying because sometimes, our upper managements are not always here and sometimes our the customers get upsets about it.

QuickBooks Time is the best!

Pros:

QuickBooks time lets users integrate employee's work hours directly to QuickBooks Online Payroll. It's easy to use as it already has a log in and log off feature for employees which automatically tracks how long they worked for the entire day.

Cons:

There are time when the system doesn't automatically integrate the time, but it's nothing that their customer service can't fix in no time.

Easy to use time tracking software

Comments: We use QuickBooks Time mainly to manage the time spent by the freelancer agents we hire for our customer service department. They are based in different countries within different time zones. So naturally we needed a solution that could make coordinating their schedules and managing their hours a simple streamlined process. So far using this software we cannot complain.

Pros:

The user experience as a whole is fluid. It doesn't have too much of a learning curve. Our Part-time employees can self-report shifts from different countries they are based in. We use accounting software from the same company, so the integration was smooth. Finally, the reporting and analytics were immaculate to monitor the efficiency and costs of our customer service department.

Cons:

Their customer service is generally responsive, during certain times, they can reply late. Besides this, for our simple use, we did not encounter much inconvenience.

Good software, does the job

Comments: It is a good piece of software and it does the job.

Pros:

It links directly to QuickBooks, I can track time spent on each client and then work out profitability of client based on the fees charged.

Cons:

I don't like the fact it is a third party software, outside of QuickBooks. We must export the data to QuickBooks regularly to have the time reflected in QuickBooks.

It's not always intuitive for new users, both in the interface and through the email invites to gain access to the web/app. If they tighten up those user experiences, it will be an almost perfect tool.

Admiring QuickBooks

Comments: QuickBooks has made my job a lot easier I can navigate through it and nowhere. I am in the company and have everything right there at the hand with just a few clicks.

QuickBooks is very good for tracking your money and keeping tabs on what goes on in the company.

It is a little overpriced after while other than that I really can’t think of anything bad to say about QuickBooks, no bugs nothing that can really bring it down. Even a notch.

Comments: The first highlight of my experience with QuickBooks Time is that I can integrate my QuickBooks accounting software to it. It is very easy to use also and helps me to keep track of my team members no matter where I am and this is because I can use both my desktop or mobile.

Pros:

The mobile app gives me access to information anytime I have to step out and I am not with my computer. This is what I like the most about it.

Cons:

I do not have what I like least about it at the moment.

Great Solution for Small Multi-state Team

Comments: I run a consulting and grant writing business with 8-10 team members in three different states. We have used QB Time for many years, and it has worked very well to accurately track time and therefore, invoice clients.

Pros:

It is easy to use, and I really like the colorful reports. I also like being able to see who's on and working on what at all times.

Cons:

I'd like to be able to group time by client by day when it translates to the invoice, rather than a separate line for every time someone clocks in and out.

Comments: Good. Very minor set backs when using but for the most part it is user friendly

Pros:

It helps us maintain the budget cost for labor for each of our projects. It makes doing payroll easier as we do not have to manually log our time. We are able to see which employee is at each jobsite so we can better coordinate.

Cons:

Sometimes we are not able to connect to the internet at our jobsite locations and it is useless when we are offline.

Save time with Quickbooks Time

Comments: It has been a positive experience overall. We have used the software since it wasa T-Sheets prior to intuit purchasing them and changing over to Quickbooks Time. The transition was not difficult. Prior to using the software my field supervisors were submitting paper timesheets for all the employees. This has been a massive improvement.

Pros:

Easy to get timeclock info into quickbooks for payroll

Cons:

There have been a few instances where the connection between the app and quickbooks has failed for some reason or another. Customer support is always able to get it sorted out eventually, but when it goes down and you need to get payroll done it is a significant annoyance.

I use QuickBooks Time to keep up with the hours of all Employees at my job as Office Manager, I run my Dad's Office for his plumbing company. I have to keep up with time being that we are a small family owned business. Makes writing checks on Friday so much easier.

The fact that I have to manually save it on order for it to sav and the fact that it's not accessible on the mobile app.

QuickBooks Time is an excellent addition to your Business's administrative side SAAS suite. This is the perfect choice for timekeeping and payroll for most small and growing businesses. It is a HUGE Pro if you already use parts of the QuickBooks' suite of financial services for businesses.

Cons:

Can be tough to learn... but their customer service is top-tier tier and they will set up most of your account for you/with you while on a customer support call!
