I like that this program is easy to use. Prior to our Company switching to a different program that integrated with our Company radios, and GPS, our drivers used KeepTruckin.
We had to stop trucking due to truck and medical reasons. I contacted Keep Truckin and they refused to suspend my account.

Motive to Move
Comments: Motive was easy to set up with our client specialists, and great support during the set up of the program for our company. Any questions or concerns they answer as best as they can, and if it is a new issue they work on resolving it ASAP.
Pros:
Great customer support 24/7. They also have a community board where other users can discuss issues or concerns that they ran into on Motive, and how they solved the issue. Motive is active on this as well, answering any concerns as well as they can.
Cons:
The only concern i would say about motive is that it is not a satellite telematics service. In long haul trucking we travel to a lot of areas where there is no cell service, and this leads to issues/concerns with tracking the unit.

Charges for services not provided
Comments: Horrible we sold a truck 2 weeks after our renewal and they will not refund the charges on the remainder of the year the eld is not being used
Pros:
Nothing worst company i have dealt with. The account manager ([sensitive content hidden]) would not help or put us through to somebody that could she claimed she was the only one that couldn't help us
Cons:
The account manager in the billing department. the employees that we dealt with did not help in any way once they steal your money the are done with you and will not help

Transportation Foreman job just got easier
Comments: It has been a process to learn the very interactive reporting platform. I can find all truck data + in a minute as well as track the entire fleet at 1 time.
Pros:
The support team in specific [sensitive content hidden] are the best I have seen in the industry. They are taking care of all of our needs and we have roughly 10,000 trucks in our fleet.
Cons:
We did not move on from our previous ELD company sooner!

Motive is a great tool to manage your fleet!
Comments: Overall we are very impressed with Motive and will continue using it to boost our Preventative Maintenance program, lone worker program, and help us to remain compliant with regulations.
Pros:
We like that we can see details such as speeds, infractions, hazards, and maintenance items all in one place. Motive helps us to keep our drivers safe, while remaining compliant with regulatory bodies. Our preventative maintenance program has been greatly improved with the notifications of mechanical issues that may arise.
Cons:
The only con to Motive would be when the GPS signal drops. Unfortunately operating out of northern Canada, it can get patchy with reception and occasionally that does affect the performance of the GPS.

Good and bad
Comments: I have been their customer for almost 2 years. They call me many times and Thats how I got their ELD and Dashcam. Unfortunately trucking business is went to a bad situation and I had to close down my business. Even if I was a good customer and I explained what is going on they didn’t even refund anything. I pay yearly and now they are saying I am in contract with 3 years and I have to pay next year also again because they can’t help anything with. I am advising everyone before you sign up with this company. They are not user friendly as you think. They give lots of wonderful words to make you sign with them but once you signed up they act differently. Beware about this matter please
Pros:
Service and functionality is good. It never got stuck in between.
Cons:
About price and contract. Little bit pricey and once we signed with them they are not flexible or user friendly as we think.

Comments: Like I said it's very easy to use and the logbook never glitches and the camera always has quality and easy to get a video when you need one
Pros:
The app and the devices never give me any problems as long as been using it. I prepaid for two years and now I don't have to worry about any monthly payments.
Cons:
My old app use to let me change the status from driving or to pc. Motive makes u stop for like 2 seconds before you change toys status.

Comments: There are things that could make it easier like the inspection where you have to check off each individual thing that’s nonsense
Pros:
It settles my requirement for the DOT. Otherwise I don’t think I have it.
Cons:
As an administrator sometimes when I would check to see where a driver was, the system was incorrect that may have been fixed, but I don’t trust it still

Comments: Significant reduction in fraudulent and wasteful experiences. It is the market leading solution to physical economy safety and reliability.
Pros:
Motive has been my best friend in the field of softwares. It is very accurate to reduce the risks on the road using the AI. It also saves us time and cost with deep insights into vehicle health, location and use. Theft prevention is well executed making it quite secure and precise.
Cons:
Customer Experience was not as expected. I rarely get feedbacks on time. That should probably be the point to improve on.

Couldn't live without
Comments: Motiv made our lives simpler. I would definitely recommend to anyone starting out, as there's a ton of regulations to keep up with, use Motiv to help with your ELD needs, but the IFTA tax portion is a MUST HAVE.
Pros:
Motive- Formally Keep Trucking, was a great ELD software to help out drivers stay compliant. Easy view of all clocks from homepage. Reports and logs are easily accessable. Ifta Fuel Tax Reporting made simple.
Cons:
Cost. For Mom and Pop trucking companies, it is just another added expense. But to be fair, I don't know what their competitors charge.

Big tool with minimal componenets
Comments: Customer support is excellent, web and app content great, especially the ability to manage the fleet from the phone app. In vehicle cameras are excellent and the ability to set adjust or remove parameters you want monitored
Pros:
The ability to track and locate fleet vehicles and drivers while managing their driving habits
Cons:
bluetooth connection can be a bit glitchy at times

Do not use this company- They are useless
Comments: Horrible, horrible horrible use so many options. These guys will take your money and never call you back again and then give you random calls acting like they are following up on customer service.
Pros:
The staff has no idea what they’re doing. They have no knowledge of their own system. Complete waste of money and time

Staff Knowledge of Devices False assurances Their own team doesn’t even know what devices they have Took me six months to let them know or for them to figure out which device that they need to send me

That you can see live time driving where the drivers are and with their current video camera placement.

Don’t do it
Comments: At times the ELD is faulty records drive time when parked and when you call for assistance to help fix the problem, they say there’s nothing they could do about it.

Comments: Great tech. Poor customer service.I will not use them again.
Pros:
Great technology. Solid reporting. Rear and front facing cameras.
Cons:
On July, 20, 2023, my truck my destroyed in a fire. I had a Motive system in that truck. A short time later, I contacted Motive and requested to cancel my service. Today some three months after my truck was destroyed,I get a call from an employee at Motive who told me that the only way that I could cancel my service, was to close my business and send them a letter from the FMCSA. I explained that I was not closing my business , I just wanted to cancel my service. I became frustrated and he got his lacey panties in a wad because I told hi that I thought it was bullshit to pay for a service that you don’t receive. The bottom line is that I have to pay this bunch $300+ a quarter until March of 2025. That is just nuts.

Motive is well designed however frustrating to deal with customer service and billing issues
Comments: Implementing the system and very simple and very user friendly.I have had and still have issues regarding data use and still am not able to get answers for motive reps. Invoicing I have repeatably asked to be billed in a different manner other than credit card and it still have not been done .

Easy to use, user friendly simple to integrate with our system

Dealing with issues in regards to data and invoicing is very frustrating.
