Keynote is Microsoft powerpoint but with good visual style

4.0 2 years ago

Pros:

It is just beautiful, it's like mixing Canva with all its features with Powerpoint. It is created exclusively to make stunning presentations and beautiful and interactive animations.

Cons:

If you have to work with other non-Apple devices, then it's a bit messy and some plots are not shown correclty

Keynote Presentations are the Best in the Academe!

Comments: My students love my presentation that’s why I am very pleased with my use of this software.

Pros:

I like how easy it is to import and export files from this software. It makes my job easier especially when we educators work on a lot of our presentations.

Cons:

The exclusivity of the software for Apple ecosystem users would be my least liked feature of Keynote.

Comments: To design a quick presentation is very easy.

Pros:

It is the easiest tool to learn and design a presentation. The best thing is the possibility to start a keynote on the iPad and to finish it on the Mac.

Cons:

Apple does't manage it to give us a real collaborative tool still. To comment, work together, exchange data and brainstorm together are not there yet in the way, the competition does it. All the tools in Keynote are there, but not used as they could be. Also, the use of custom fonts between iPad and Mac is totally off or not possible.

Royal history review of Keynote

5.0 last year

Comments: If you are a Mac owner, there is no other choice. I use it every month and love it, even if it has starting to look outdated and doesn't receive yearly changes.

Pros:

How easy to use it is. incredibly simple to make different slides, position photographs, and add details. My area of weakness is creating graphics, but I can also make posters with Keynote. Even though I've only recently started using Canva, Keynote still feels more natural to me.

Cons:

If it included more styles and templates, that would be fantastic. Although the PowerPoint template I bought fits well with Keynote, I would prefer to have more default templates available when I create a new file.

keynote to supplement imovie has been great for video edits.

5.0 4 weeks ago New

Comments: Excellent, keynote has given me so many more font and edit options to overlay imovie videos.

Pros:

Keynote is wonderful to create texts/fonts to overlay for video edits for apps like imovie, that is the main usage for myself.

Cons:

None. Keynote for what I need it for has been wonderful.

Keynote Review

5.0 7 months ago

Pros:

One of the things I really like about Keynote is how much you can do with it. There are many options to choose and although it does the same job as Google Slides or PowerPoint, it does the job and does it well.

Cons:

There isn't much to not like about Keynote as it's pretty standard (in my opinion), but if I were to complain about one thing, it would be the video playing within the presentation. It works as expected, but I wish there was an "easier" way of playing it (as in making it more "obvious"), but again, it's a minor complaint.

Clean UI easier to use than Powerpoint but the templates are overly complicated

4.0 7 months ago

Pros:

The UI of Keynote is more streamlined than Powerpoint in my view. Its less cluttered and quicker to navigate.

Cons:

Keynote falls down due to a lack of good templates, sure some of them look nice and are very artistic but it would be better if they had more ones using simple fonts and simple colour schemes so that they can be modified more quickly to match my brands fonts, colours and styling.

Keynote - great for pastors!

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: On the whole, it's been helpful, but I definitely prefer both PowerPoint and Slides over Keynote.

Pros:

I love the aesthetically pleasing templates that Keynote offers you when choosing to create a presentation! Of all the options, Keynote definitely looks the best.

Cons:

I don't like the need to (apparently) constantly update the app on my laptop. One time, I failed to update Keynote for a long period of time (my fault, I admit), but it really screwed up my ability to access older presentations.

Keynote for Mac Users and works with Microsoft too

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Great. As an Apple user I love being able to use an iPad, iPhone or Macbook to edit my files. The files are reliable and look really great for presentations or lessons that I give.

Pros:

This software utilizes integration with the cloud, for easy access and editing from anywhere. It is very comparable to Powerpoint, just takes a little getting used to where everything is. I think some features work better in Keynote while others are better in Powerpoint.

Cons:

Getting used to a different interface was a minor annoyance and worth it. The good news is Numbers, Keynote and Pages are very similar in their tool layouts, so learn one and you learn them all, to an extent.

Simple and effective!

5.0 2 years ago

Pros:

The best part is the simplicity and intuitiveness of the tool for developing beautiful and functional slides. The software is more fluid than power point and google slides in the functions of dragging text boxes and images and seems to be easier to apply than you imagine. The application of animations is fluid and very simple.

Cons:

I haven't found any negative points yet. The interface is very well constructed.

It offers a wide range of customizable templates, animations, and visual effects that make it easy to create dynamic and interactive presentations. The ability to add multimedia elements such as videos and images makes it a great tool for showcasing projects and research in a more engaging way.

Keynote sings a high note

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: It’s had it’s frustrating moments.

Pros:

It was easy to integrate with other Mac devices. Being able to upload videos and images fairly hassle free has helped my non-profit quite a lot.

Cons:

I don’t like that I can’t copy and paste from PowerPoint or Google slides into Keynote. It’s basically Keynote or nothing.

Power Point? What's that?

5.0 3 years ago

Pros:

Mother of God. I can't live without this tool. I love how simple and intuitive it is. I don't want to know anything more about Power Point. For me, Keynote is the best in interface, animations and design.

Cons:

I really have nothing bad to say about her. I find it perfect.

A perfect tool for amazing presentations

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: I can create amazing documents through Keynote, but I need much storage on my computer and in my iCloud.

Pros:

This is the only software I know that allows the creation of such beautiful documents, with several features available to use creativity and leave an impeccable design in my creations. In addition, through it, I can also share documents and make changes with other people.

Cons:

Unfortunately, Keynote uses a lot of storage, which is a big downside, making my iCloud more expensive as a result. Another negative point is that it is a limited-use software since only Apple users can enjoy it, making it difficult to share files.

So easy to use

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: It is very easy to use and to teach other people on how to do it. Unlike other presetation softwares where there are too many buttons and not know what they are for

Pros:

I love keynote. It is so easy to create presentations. I love the templates it provides because I just have to plug in pictures and make my presentation

Cons:

I would love more options on resizing a presentation

a very useful software for creating training presentations

5.0 2 years ago

Pros:

I train marketing professionals and I use Keynote for many of my trainings. It's a very simple to use software for creating training presentations, it has helped me create interactive training sessions. I am able to create training presentations that are eye catching and easy to follow, which significantly increased my conversion rates. The templates are great too because they allow me to focus on the content without worrying about design and I've been able to add my own materials easily on top.. I highly recommend this software!

Cons:

no cons for keynote. Apple always does the great job

Helps to focus on the story telling

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: There's no alternative if you own a Mac. It's not receiving annual updates and it has started to look old, but I love it and use it every month.

Pros:

How user-friendly it is. Super easy to add images and details, align them, and create various slides. Creating visuals is not my strength and I use Keynote to create posters too. I started using Canva recently but I still feel more comfortable with Keynote.

Cons:

It would be great if it had more templates and more styles. I've purchased some PowerPoint template and it works ok with Keynote, but I'd rather have access to more default templates when creating a new file.

keynotes makes it simple creating presentations with so many beautiful templates

5.0 2 years ago

Pros:

I've been a Keynote user for several years now and I love it. It's simple to use and has so many beautiful templates to choose from. I use Keynote for all my presentations and even though I'm a total noob when it comes to designing, it's so easy to use. I run into so many problems with other apps for presentations, but Keynote is just the best.

Cons:

The only thing I think can be improved is its cloud version. The desktop app is amazing but the cloud version needs a lot of improvement.
