Worth the money
Comments: I am really happy with this product and would recommend it to people who are starting out with photography, illustration and/or design if they can afford it.
Pros:
I love the multitude of features it has to offer and how well rounded the software is.
Cons:
The pricing is a bit high but you do have access to the best editing tools so I guess it is worth it.
The Gold Standard in design
Comments: I learned Photoshop years ago and I can vouch for it. Adobe have been a little shady with content ownership but outside that, I've earned a good chunk of my living from this software.
Pros:
The layer system is an excellent way to work. I can choose to work in destructive and non-destructive methods and achieve the same results. Plus those backup saves have saved my behind in many a pinch.
Cons:
The files tend to get bulky really fast and those aren't the best to work with if you have a PC with limited resources. Mine is no slouch but we still have issues from time to time.
An essential design and retouching tool
Comments: I hated it at first, but now I need it all the time in my design-work.
Pros:
Photo-retouching. An easy to use interface. Stable and reliable - I've been using it for thirty years approximately in my design work and I haven't used a better image retouching tool.
Cons:
All the annoying pop-up windows that show you how to do things that I already know how to do. The fact I have to pay an annual subscription. The countless number of functions I don't need - it would be good to be able to click these closed so I just had the functions I wanted.

Photoshop, Unleashing Your Creative Imagination
Comments: I have been using Photoshop for more than 25 years. I have seen it evolve from a simple image editing software to the mature and powerful tool it is today with advanced image manipulation features and integrated generative AI that can create images from nothing.
Pros:
Adobe Photoshop is the most powerful image editing and manipulation software all around.
Cons:
As powerful as Photoshop is it is also a complex software to learn and extremely hard to master.
Most Useful Photo Editing Software Out There!
Comments: I am heavily reliant on Photoshop on a daily basis for photo editing and thumbnail making. I can also integrate photoshop files with other Adobe products which is very helpful. It has been an awesome experience using it and will continue using it for years and years to come.
Pros:
It is the ultimate software to edit photos. It has all the tools required to retouch a photo or manipulate the photo according to your desire. I also use it to make flyers and posters. Along with that, it has been very useful for me to make quality video thumbnails.
Cons:
It is a little bit on the expensive side.
Adobe Photoshop
Pros:
Whether it’s layering, masking, or retouching, everything feels so professional and versatile
Cons:
It’s not the easiest tool to pick up, especially if you’re just starting out. Another downside is the subscription cost, which might be a bit much if you only need the basics
Alternatives Considered:
Still the leading app fro image editing!
Comments: Photoshop is still the industry standard for editing images - as a designer this is such an important part of my workflow.
Pros:
Although it's powerful, the basic settings offer so much - the AI tools for removing backgrounds are soooooo helpful
Cons:
Only issue I have is that I run an older machine so can't access some newer settings.

My opinion on Photoshop
Comments: I used it to design some images. It was very powerful to deal with, and the filters added a lot of clarity and life to the images. I also prepared images in different shapes to create a moving shot and saved them with the GIF extension.
Pros:
What I liked about Photoshop is its precision in designing, processing, and clarifying images, controlling the degree of colors, cropping parts of images, adding components to them, and removing the background from images. It is very professional in making advertising banners and logos.
Cons:
Its cost is high and sometimes it is difficult for some beginners to understand it. It also requires a computer with high capabilities.

Adobe Photoshop: Powerful tools for creators
Comments: My overall experience with Adobe Photoshop has been mostly positive, though it depends on the context of its use.
Pros:
At first I want to say my fantastic experience about adobe photoshop is its user friendly interface and tools. some reasons to like adobe photoshop most are- powerful features, customization facilities, user friendly interface, advance tools, worldwide acceptable etc.
Cons:
high cost, frequent updates, resource problem for operations and dependency on subscription are the main reasons to like least about adobe photoshop.

A must for photo editing
Comments: I have been using this software for over 20 years and it just keeps getting better every year. I have used it on so many different projects and will continue using it for both work and personal use.
Pros:
How robust its features are and the multitude of applications it can be used for.
Cons:
It does have a bit of a learning curve, but there are many tutorials both through adobe and online that can help.
Alternatives Considered:
Photoshop is the BOMB!
Comments: As I said above, I use Photoshop EVERY day - and I love it! If you are a creative professional (or aspire to be) this is a MUST HAVE tool to have in your skill set.
Pros:
Photoshop is THE standard for any type of image editing. Photo editing, graphics creation, broadcast graphics, etc. - it can do it all! I use Photoshop EVERY day!
Cons:
While the basic use it pretty intuitive, Photoshop does soooo much that the learning curve can be a bit steep, in order to get comfortable with the more advanced (read COOLEST) features. AND - the cost is prohibitive for small firms and hobbyists.
Leas industry tool for picture manipulation
Comments: Overall the best and most complete platform for image manipulation, at a cost of being tied to Adobe's suite
Pros:
There's definitely no other tool that is as much as reference as Photoshop when it comes to editing and manipulating images, it quite literally became a verb when refererring to image adjustement, so it is indeed the most complete out there
Cons:
Learning curve is a hard one, especially when it comes to colour correction and fine tuning images. Their new AI tool is also a bit on the flimsiest side, not much of use for it as of yet
I use Adobe Photoshop CS5
Comments: It is my go-to program and I have been using it for almost as long as I've been creating digital art. I use it in combination with other programs (GIMP for it's ability to turn white or other colours into transparency (great for separating scanned lines from their background when you want the final export to have transparency), and Clip Studio Paint for it's bucket tool's ability to quickly fill in colour on a new layer while taking into consideration the linework present on a different layer). These features may be present in some capacity in the newest version of Photoshop, but are sorely lacking in CS5. Beyond that, Photoshop CS5 works perfectly for my needs.
Pros:
I might be somewhat biased, as I grew up using Photoshop Essentials and never ventured far from their series of products. That said, I love the versatility of the program for my artistic needs, and the smaller but equally as important ease-of-use features like being able to skew and warp images almost in perspective with the free transform feature. I have tried similar programs before, but some of these smaller features were lacking and made the experience feel lacking. I haven't used Their newest Photoshop product, but I hear that there have been many additional features added that make it all the better. For example, their animation timeline.
Cons:
My main gripe with Photoshop, and the reason that I never moved to CC, is that they no longer have a perpetual license option. I am not a fan of monthly/yearly subscriptions, which immediately put me off from upgrading. Not to mention that their pricing options are not cheap; unless you need this program at a professional level and know that you will be making a good return, there are many cheaper or free options that you can pick up, that will have most of the key features you'll need when starting out.
Adobe Photoshop Review
Comments: Great tools and features, but still questioning on how to utilize it by teaching myself. Perfect for people who are in designing.
Pros:
numerous great features. I can generate the highest quality of works through the Adobe Photoshop program. It is obviously a necessary program for people who do some art-related (designers, advertiser..) jobs for living. If you are familiar with every feature and know how to use it, it is the best choice for your design. But not for me.
Cons:
I was trying to get a refund because I do not want to keep the subscription due to the pricey fee for me, it was really difficult to get matched with a representative to help me to get a refund. It took forever and even after chatting with the representative, I still need to explain why I want to get a refund even though I haven't used Adobe Photoshop after the fee had been paid. There could be more students who think this program is a bit expensive and difficult to use. That is why I decided to stop subscribing to Adobe Photoshop.
Wonderful Photo Editing Software
Pros:
Photoshop is my go-to photo editor. Originally I was using another software, but Photoshop offers a bunch of unique effects and filters to create Art just exactly how I want it.
Cons:
I really is a great softwate. I've been using it for the past 8 years on a nearly daily basis. It doesn't have any cons.
Top Tier Image Editing Software
Comments: I've been using photoshop for both work and also personal use for about 18 years, and I can't imagine life without it. It's my favorite image editing software, and it's a must have for post production professionals.
Pros:
Photoshop is incredible software that is very useful for all kinds of graphics and image editing. The new AI Generative fill feature is very useful for saving time, it's super handy when you need something done quick.
Cons:
I primarily use Photoshop on my laptop, but I do just wish they had a more fleshed out version for mobile devices than what they have out now.
Adobe Photoshop Review
Comments: My overall experience with Adobe Photoshop has been nothing short of transformative. As someone who loves creating digital art and manipulating photos, I’ve found Photoshop to be the ultimate tool to bring my ideas to life. It has a steep learning curve, but the rewards are immense once you overcome that initial challenge. The power to transform images and create stunning graphics is unparalleled, and the constant updates from Adobe ensure that the software stays ahead of the curve with the latest technology.
Pros:
Photoshop offers some of the most powerful editing tools on the market, allowing for everything from simple adjustments to highly complex image manipulations. Tools like the Clone Stamp, Healing Brush, and Liquify give you ultimate control over your images. With Photoshop, you can remove unwanted objects, correct colors, enhance details, and even merge multiple images seamlessly. What I love most about Photoshop is its immense flexibility. Whether you’re creating stunning compositions from scratch, retouching photos, or adding creative effects, there’s a tool or feature that makes it possible. The software continues to amaze me with its detailed layer control, precision in image manipulation, and ability to bring almost any creative vision to life.
Cons:
Photoshop is a very powerful tool, but that power comes at the cost of complexity. Beginners may find the interface overwhelming, and even experienced users often discover new tools and techniques they were unaware of. It takes dedication and time to truly master the software.
